- Nug| 1 replyTwo text messages on the 13th.
9099 Customer issue, florida west coast federal credit union service frozen. please call at 303 325 7300
This business is bogus (no such credit union, two are close but no match).
all text lower case, very unprofessional & I ignored it. - no wool over my eyesMultiple SMS texts to 3 different cell numbers with Sprint and Sprint/Nextel message reads: "customer issue, florida west coast credit union service frozen. please call at 303 325 7300"
First off, since the name of this alleged credit union was not capitalized, and I do not have any accounts at a credit union, this had scam all over it.
Googled the reply phone # and found this site. Also called Sprint and Sprint/Nextel and had all future sms and texting from "9099" blocked since the phising attempts seemed to be relentless...- Caller: Florida West Coast Credit Union
- no wool over my eyes replies to Nugcall your carrier and have them block the 9099 from texting or sms'ng you....I got over thirty combined sms's from them today until I blocked them...

- ShaneJust got 3 of these texts.... didn't have an account with that credit union, so didn't bother calling back. I wish I would have searched this out and found out it was a scam BEFORE I just sent a nasty e-mail to the credit union, :) OOOpppps

- Your number is still being texted out replies to Rob JamesI just wanted to inform you that I received a text message at 10:41pm Dec. 13th from 9099. "customer issue, Florida west coast federal credit union service frozen. please call at 303 325 7300".
- JayT replies to PLEASE DIAL *2 AND CALL SPRINT!!I have Sprint. I forwarded it to them. Got it twice here in Tampa 813 as did some FB friends. Listen everyone, call your police department (NOT 911 - call the non-emergency #) and report it. The deal is that they are attempting to commit fraud and it is being attempted where you are. Your local police dept. has jurisdiction over that - they can refer it to another department if need be, especially if it is crossing state boundaries.
- RJMy wife and I both received texts from 9099 on our Sprint cell phones tonight. Message read: "customer issue, florida west coast federal credit union service frozen. please call at 303-325-7300." This text was sent twice to each of our phones. A bank would never text on a Sunday evening to report a problem with your account. Do not call the number. Do not provide any account info to this number. Call your bank or credit union directly to check on your account.

- RW is P.O.'dYeah I got a text twice last night from (303)325-7300. One @ 6:33pm and one @ 8:33pm. It said something like my fl west coast fed credit union service is frozen and to call 303-325-7300.... and i saw in another post that it might be SPRINT giving away our numbers. I totally agree with that because I have been a sprint customer for 3 months now and I have recieved several calls that I am unfamiliar with. And when I try to return the call it wont let me. I believe the number starts with 757... Im pissed off. Im in sales and I answer my phone all the time from numbers I dont know, and i dont have time for this or to even be on this website. So get it fixed!!!!!!

- PISSED OFF MOM| 1 replyMy MINOR CHILD has been getting this same messages. I just got off the phone with Sprint & was told that they are working on this problem, BUT, OF COURSE, It is not their fault. They also said that they are alerting their customers that this is a scam & not to respond.

- cyberbikerReceived text message from 9099 immediately after eBay purchase with Paypal saying "customer issue, visa service frozen. please call at 303 325 7300". There was an excess balance in my Paypal account so I suspected it was a scam.
- MDGot the same text msg - except it said visa acct frozen - called visa directly, they said all ok. Obviously, this is a scam to get your acct number. Do not reply back.......
