keeps calling, regardless of the fact that we are on DNC list. No message left anytime they've called

They call 3 or 4 times a day for weeks. Last month I would pick up the phone but not say anything.  I thought they had received the message, because they had stopped calling. Now they are calling again as many times a day as before.

Caller tried to sell me a subscription to a magazine.  Very pushy.  Wanted to seal the deal with a credit card, when i refused "Dean", the manager asked for my bank account along with the routing number.  I hung up.

I've noticed this number (303-422-1887) on my caller ID a couple of times over the last few days...but got FOUR calls from them just today.  I didn't answer any of them...and they never leave a message.  But I called the number back - only to get a recording that didn't state any company name.  It said that if I wanted to be removed from their call list, to leave my phone number.  I left my number - we'll see if they stop calling.  As most of the other people who have posted, I'm also on the DNC list.

This number has called 20 times in the past week, and they have not left a message.

I said I wasn't here when they called. I think this is in reference to my expiring Penthouse subscription (based on what others have said)and I wasn't intending to renew it anyway.

Hear me out, please.  I know I may be way off base here, but here goes....
Several months ago, we had a 'run' on calls from 'Rocky Mtn Reade'.  Coincidentally, at that time, we were having trouble paying credit card bills, etc. on time.  For a while, things smoothed out and we were back on track w/ the bills.  No more calls from 'Rocky Mtn Reade'.  Well, we're back again having a bit of financial trouble, and within the last few days, calls have resumed again from R.M.R. (I never pick up.) Has anyone else experienced the same coincidence?  Could it be that they're actually a front, contracted by collections agencies, to find out where people live, if they are using credit cards, etc.?  (Perhaps I've gone of the deep end here!)

Rocky Reade has called our home 6 times in the past 3 days.  When we answered the first time there was no response. Then we stopped answering.  Tonight a woman's voice on our answering machine asked for my husband by name.  We are on the Do Not Call list and have filed a complaint with donotcall.gov

Iget a call from this number at least once a week and I AM on the Do Not Call List.  I'd like this to stop.

I called back this number and they said they were a magazine distributer.  They havn't called back since.

1-303-422-1887 called me in the morning and asked for me by name - my full name, first and last.  Then they asked if I'd been receiving my subscription of "US Magazine" just fine.  I said I should NOT be receiving any magazines, I have no subscriptions.  She asked, "Is this the [my last name] residence at..." and then proceeded to list the wrong address.  I said "No, that's not my address."  She said sorry, have a good day, and hung up.  I got scared that someone may have used my credit card, but all looks OK so far.  I searched this online and found out it is, in fact, a magazine advertising company... a little concerning that they had MY FULL NAME AND PHONE NUMBER.

I received a call from this number (303)422-1887 today.  It is the second call I have received from this number this month.  They asked if "________ _______" was home.  I said "Who is calling?"  They said they were with "TV Guide".  Since I receive that magazine, I said, yes, this is "_____ _______".  They asked me if my TV Guide has been arriving in good condition.  I said "Yes."  Then the female voice said they had me on their preferrred customer list, since I have been a customer for such a long time.  And that since I am a preferred customer, they wanted to give me a special rate since my subscription renewal was
due in a couple of months.  I said "I just renewed, it's
good clear up until April 2010."  They said "Well, it's
still a good offer, they wanted to give me 75% off the newsstand price.  And that this offer was only good for a couple more days for their preferred customers."  She asked me if I wanted this offer.  I said "No!  Plus, my RULE is that I don't do ANY business with ANYONE that
calls ME up on the phone with no prior invitation from ME!" She quietly said "Thank you, good-bye" and then hung up.  (I just hope that I didn't give this female too much information, where she could possibly do any kind of damage to me or my finances or business!)

she called us a couple months back, my mom thought it was weird and i checked the area code on my phone and then type "rocky reade" in google  this came up lol


but she actually said "hello hello hello" and then hung up

Calls today 3 times from the same # as you guys.  Wife has a subcription to US Mag that is up in March, we've gotten mailings about re upping, but now F it, no more US Magazine

We have gotten several calls a day over the past two days from this caller whose name comes up Rocky Reade on our caller ID.  We have not answered these calls and they do not leave a message on our answering machine.  We also are on the DNC list.

I just signed up for the DNC registry so I have to wait at least 31 days before I can report them.

I've been getting possibly up to 10 calls a day from these people and I refuse to answer the phone. When the machine picks up I can hear laughter in the background from males and females and I think that they are just trying to scam myself or my dad.

They started calling about 2 weeks ago and I don't have any magazine subscriptions nor does my father. So I'm guessing that they are trying to get information out of us to steal our bank info/or trying to get us to buy magazines that will never show up. Either way we'd be getting robbed of something.

These people do not know how to quit. I just signed up for the DNC registry today, once I was able to find the link to it. We get so many calls that I'm about ready to ask my dad if we can get rid of our home phone altogether!

I want to have the peace and quiet that I'm used to and not having the phone ring off the hook from these con-artists/scammers.

They start calling me anywhere from 10am to as late as 10pm. So I get about 1 call an hour or 1 call every two hours depending on how persistent they are feeling that day. I just want the calls to stop because if this keeps up much longer I'm going to have to stay at school just to study/get my schoolwork done. I'm getting ready to start my second semester in college and the last thing I want to hear is the phone ringing while I'm trying to study/get good grades.

After 31 days I'll be able to report them but hopefully by then there will be so many reports on them that they have already stopped calling. (One can only dream ^_^)
