I received a called from 304-973-9898 06/26/2010 12:34 p.m. did not answer

I just got the call and listened long enough to hear a recording saying "Atencion".  I quickly hung up.

Called at 12 noon EST, didn't answer, they left no message.

I received a call from them at 1:27 PM. I was in class and I forgot to put my cell phone on silent. Since I was in class, I obviously could not pick up. They did not leave a message.

This number is spoofed, meaning it is not who is actually calling you. They disquise the real number and use an un-used number. I spoke with Sprint and they confirmed it is their number but that it was not assigned or used now. You can be assured that when you get calls that this, they are spoofed and they are scams. Don't waste your time in calling them back as you will discover, the number doesn't work. Obviously, the Donotcall list will not help when the number is not a real telemarketer's number. This site needs a category for spoofed calls which are not pranks, they are out to get your money.

just got the same call from that number in WEst virginia... didnt pick up... Im with SPRINT... I dont even know where virginia is, so DEF noone there has my number

I just received a call from 304-973-9898, I did not answer as was not left a voice message.  I do not know anyone from this area either. Googled the number and found all of you.

Just received call from 304-973-9898 to my AZ cell phone just after noon on Tuesday, June 28th. I never answer anyone I don't know. No message was left. How do these people make money calling random numbers? There's got to be profit in it somewhere for whoever is doing it.

I forgot to add I'm on vacation in another state.

Spoofed call in Spanish language.  I am on Do Not Call Registry.  Reside in Florida.  Call came at 2:20 pm. The number that shows the call came from is not a working number.  I have been getting these calls repeatedly for several weeks now.

Just called me and I answered... its a Spanish advertisement for some bull [***]... ignore it.

I was called by this number at 3:39 mtn time and they left no message, what the heck is this?

Same as below....just called my cell phone and left no message...googled the number and brought me here....WTH!

Got the call from the same number around 10:58 PST and they didn't leave any message. So sick of these calls especially when they call you while you are at work.

Same story, Got a call, didn't pick it up, No message left.

called at 2:04 PM (CST) Houston, did not pick up, no message, googled brought here. No Idea.

same here called tuesday around 2:00 P.M. NO MESSAGE.
