Try googling "spoof a telephone number".  Reporting this number to the government is a complete waste of your time.

I received a call from this number on my cell phone.  I have gotten the same call in the past from other numbers.  It's a recorded message that starts out with an old fashioned cash register sound ("ka-CHING!") and then a recorded voice starts out in Spanish, "felicidades," at which point I hang up.

I received a call from this number today.  I didn't answer it and they left no message.

Same thing.  They called my Google Voice number.  Didn't bother picking up.

Same - called me out of the blue at 6:13pm in NYC and no message left. This is why I screen calls. In reaction to previous messages here, I would note that I am not Spanish and this appears to be another totally wasted call.

I live in a 209 area code and a couple of my friends are getting the same number called, but none of us have been able to answer in time.

This was taped message in Spanish so I did not understand a word. Hung up.

I have received two calls from this number. When I try to call back I get a message saying the number is inoperative.

Definitely don't know anyone at this number, in this region, etc.  Smells like a shady bill collector to me...nothing like an economic downturn to bring out the leeches.

I just answered a call form this number and a Spanish recording came on which I could not understand.  Oddly, I called the number back from a land line and an operator recording posted this a "disconnected phone number".  Sound like fraud?
