Just received a call from the same number ... no message left.

The phone call received was non English. Not sure of the language maybe spanish.

I just got this call. Like literally just right now. Same thing spanish person and searched the number and it brought me here. IDK what is going on but has anyone looked to see if there is something using your number to sign you up for those promotional ads online. I have a strong feeling that maybe someone is using my number to do that.
If any one knows anything- please let us all know.

I just got a call from this number about an hour ago July 1 at 10:06am...I get international calls sometimes from friends from all sorts of numbers so may have answered it had I not been on another call... :) Lucky for me the call did not get answered...but when I called it back said there was no such number and the number could not be completed as dialed. Why this number? I am ready to research it to the max and track it down to the exact location and address and give someone a piece of my mind!

I have received numerous calls on my Verizon cell phone from this number. All calls are recorded messages in Spanish which I don't understand. When I called back I received a message from Verizon saying the number is not valid or is no longer in service....  How is reporting this annoyance on this blog going to stop the abusers??? How can a number be out of service and still work? Why can't Verizon do somewthing about this?

I called it back and it told me the numer was not in service. Must be a scam.

Estaba en el trabajo, recibí la llamada de un número extraño -de ¿304?  Cuando contesté, era una grabación diciendo que acababa de ganar dinero y que oprimiera el número 1 para colectar el dinero.  Les colgué.  Me imagino que luego le piden a uno sus datos para venderlos o para robar identidad, etc.  ¡transas!

Robocall in spanish.  It's s scam since it says "you're mobile phone has bee selected as the winner, press 1 to claim your prize..."

Same deal here.  Called my cell, left no message.

called 07/01/2010 at 11:01 PST. when i answered & i heard some gibberish language and then hung up. it says WV, USA tho i don't know anyone there. i use AT&T in CA. i wish it would stop because it's annoying.

Same here - Just received a call from this #, at 1:28PM CST I did not answer, no message was left

recieved a call at 2:50 est. rang once and then stopped.  I have a 407 number. weird.

Just received a call on Verizon cell phone here in Oregon.  Didn't recognize the number so i didn't answer.  No message.

Got call yesterday 6/30/10 at 7:08 PM, was at a meeting and did not answer but no VM was left. Search brought me here. Verizon, Southern California

I got the same recorded message in spanish saying that my number was the only one selected as the winner for the month, if i wanted to know the prices to press 1, but i just cut the call. I know people from WV but none have my personal cell #.

i just got a call from this number and saw this forum...this is the creepy part though... i have a google voice number, which forces callers to give their name and allows me to hear it to decide whether or not i answer...only about 10 people have this number as i do not give it out ever... it was a spanish speaking woman and i also have a verizon phone, but a google number...where do u report unwanted calls?

I got a call from # 304-973-9898 today about 10:45 am it was a recording saying that my number had been selected to recive some prices that if i wanted to continue press 1, my curiosity made me press it and as soon as I did that the phone call was cut, I tried to call back and nobody answer. It sounded like a busy line or just desconected. I am afraid by pressing one they could get some access to my information with my cell company. What can I do?

Got a call from a this number, answered (a work phone so I have to answer). As soon as I heard the Spanish announcement from an obviously automated system, I hung up.

So I get annoyed by non-English speaking telemarketers. Arizona has the right idea...
