I got a call from 3049739898 too at 3:55pm on June 28, 2010. I didn't answer it. When I call it back, I was told there was no such a number. Strange!!!

Just got a call from this number and when I answered they told me I won a million dollars. I just picked up my check.

Got this call twice today - the message in Spanish says that you have won a prize and that you need to press one to claim it . . .

Called me to.  Left no message.  I tried to call back and the number is disconnected.  I have AT&T Iphone and live in FL.

It better not be one of those companies that helps illegal aliens get money from taxpayers.  I am sick of these crooks in congress undermining our republic.

Just to reiterate; I think "Naphets" had a great suggestion above: "I have submitted an official complaint to the www.donotcall.gov registry.  If they are a business in any form they will receive a $5,000 fine for every one that also submits a complaint.

Reporting this number to the Do Not Call Registry was almost certainly a better use of my time than complaining about it in this forum. Thanks for the useful information.

From my experience usually when the 4 digit is a 9 its a phone booth! But since there are soooo many numbers now
