- JenReceived a call July 27 around 7:30 pm CST while I was trying to watch the Olympic opening ceremony and again last night (July 29th) at 7:02 pm CST. Even though they're calling within reasonable time limits, there is a reason I'm on the DNC list. I have Asperger's and I'm not registered to vote so LEAVE ME ALONE PLEASE! I let the machine answer and I heard someone ask "Hello?" then they hung up. Sounded like a busy place. I have a right not to be bothered by a phone poll as well as the right to not vote if I choose. I relocated before the last big election in 2008 and didn't register. I have caller ID and I won't answer unless it's important enough (like the apartment office, family, friend, etc). I've moved so frequently in recent years that registering wouldn't have done me any good anyway.

- JenJust got another call just now, UGH. I answered and when they asked if I'm registered to vote I said "No and I'm not going to" then they hung up. DON'T CALL BACK.

- Jen replies to sky| 1 replyBut you will not stop calling when asked You call late in the evening after 8pm (central time) disturbing my family time. the next 3 times you just hung up when i answered. when i find a way to legally make you stop i am going to.
- ChrisCalled 13 different times in a row, answered every time to a dead end. I wish they would stop calling me! Very annoying when trying to get stuff done around dinner time!
- Vanve replies to skyBullahit! You call several times a dayy!,
- Roger JReceived call. "Can I speak to (my wife's name)." I reply, "I am sorry she is sleeping." He asks "What time can I call back." and I reply "You can take your chances. And, may I as the reason for your call?"
"None of your business!" and click. If I see this number again, I will whistle so loud it will blow the headset off the caller. This has got to stop. - mn_me replies to skyi don't care that you think you can bother me in the middle of my dinner.. can i have your home phone number so i can interrupt your free time every evening? its not just your company doing this - its all the other groups that think they have exemptions and some that don't.
leave us alone. you won't like my opinion if i do answer - jason replies to skyonce! not twice!
- zeus replies to skyI answered, said I wasnt interested, now they are calling me multiple times a day, classy
- WafflesThey call all the time and don't leave a message. It needs to stop!
- Loveshines replies to skyLegal?! I beg to differ. Want to go to court over this? Well unfortunately sir your freedom of speech to call me for a political survey(this you and your buddies for example peacefully assembling mountains of data collectors and waking people up in the morning and late at night?) is in fact impinging on my bill of rights to 1)Fourth Amendment -The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures...Notice the secure in papers part? My political and religious orientation is no bushiness of yours period. Why because i also have a 2)Fifth Amendment – due process, double jeopardy, self-incrimination, eminent domain. In other words, no one has the right to collect data which for example if this government becomes more corrupt and decides on day to kill everyone who isn't such and such using the very data you collected to self incriminate me, this government is not nor companies should not be allowed to have this information available. Technically it is illegal, but we have all been to damn lazy to notice the huge train you've driven through some loop holes..Regardless if it is your bread and butter. My personal data/ My digital self deserves protection from people like you. Maybe its time someone brings your transnational corporate interest to the supreme court,.Because I know data miners like you share, and repackage the information, and everyone in the USA has at least a phone book sized data portfolio on them. Wake up people its more then just annoying phone calls..And you yourself could ironically be incriminated by your own data mathematical models. The more accurate the model, the less freedom of choice we have. We our not data,we our people...Ever hear of a software package called "promise"?!?! Get a clue...
- AnnoyedGot 5 calls in 2 minutes, answered 2 of them and just silence.. sent the other 3 to voicemail but nothing was said.
- grendel replies to MoniCatalina| 2 repliesYou want my opinion?? Anyone running for office that hires a illiterate phone monkey like you will certianly not get my vote :)
- grendel replies to actuallyyea umm, no need to be polite, check if your state allows residential numbers to be recorded without permission (most do) and turn the tapes into your atty general :) They are allowed to call for political reasons but NOT harass you if you tell them to stop calling. Fines go up to around 10k a call!!
- Kim in WA state replies to skyBy law, calling my home at 9:35 pm is not okay. It's on my caller ID. We get up very early around here. The phone woke me up and I cannot seem to fall back to sleep. This may be your job, but have some common courtesy and don't call so damn late.
- Cynthia HackneyI am on a do not call list and I am still getting phone calls.
- JenI told them no a week ago and they just called again, GRRR! I picked up the receiver only to slam it down again. Next time they call I'm unplugging the line from the wall jack just to prove the point. Might look into selective call acceptance for the next couple months, I hope it works on long distance calls from FL to MN as I only saw it under local. I'm not voting and not interested in voting, I did it once and it messed up the economy so much. I'm not paying for an unwanted phone call either.

- Marcia HedrickThese people keep calling our home phone and we're on the do not call list. Tonight the woman called again at 9:40 PM and hung up when my wife answered with, "Who are you, anyway?" This is VERY irritating. Our lawmakers need to give those do not call laws some teeth.
