Same as above, never anyone there.  I figure they call several numbers at once and then talk to the first one to answer.  Perhaps this should be considered interstate harrassment and should be reported to the FTC and FCC.  Actually fedral harrassment is a fedral situation and we should contact the FBI?

Caller claimed to be with AT&T and wanted to save me money on my DSL. Only problem is I am in a rural location and can't get DSL. I'm on wireless. Lady also had my address wrong so before I hung up I told her she must not be with AT&T because they had my correct address. She called back in a few minutes and claimed to have my correct address which wasn't even in the right town.

Dang scammers.

They keep calling daily and don't take no for an answer. I don't even answer my cell when I see "unknown" or their 307-215-1001 number. Isn't there anything that can be done to stop these calls?

I live in IL.  I got a call from United Travel Network about my entry being a winner.  I won either a car, a tv or a vacation.  They want me to come out on the weekend for a 90 min presentation.  When I started asking about the vacation club, they said they did not know the price.  This is a scam - no website in operation, they probably want up front fees for a vacation discount.  I am not interested.

Got a call from the 307 number, picked up and heard it ringing so they must be using an autodialer.  As I hung up I heard a woman trying to act like she had just called.  She called back about three minutes later, very thick accent, and claimed to be from AT&T, asked for my boss and his wife by name.  I just told her there wasn't anyone here who could talk about our phone service right now and hung up.  Sounds more sinister now that I see they have multiple scams going on from this number, may be phishing for ID theft or slamming your phone service.  I will definitely warn my receptionist about this one, and probably call my AT&T account rep.

They called my house twice at 1 am and 2 am.  Left no message.

they told me that they were with AT&T and needed to speak with the person in charge of the account.

Called about 11AM. Did not leave a message. Just the number show the caller id.

called back; woman answered the phone with "what's your ISP?"  i told her, "you called me--what do you want?"  she hung up.  filed complaint w/ DNC registry (i am on the DNC list).

calls come from "marketing something or other, FWIW...

Been calling every day this week - no one on the line. When you call the number back it says it's disconnected.

They call my business daily. It is pretty clear that they have a fake number for their caller ID given what people said above. There are ways you can fake it and they are doing it, which also explains why people are getting different businesses and offers...

I receive hang ups from this number at work on a regular basis. Wonder what is going on....

just got ANOTHER call from this number.  called back after a few minutes & got a "disconnected/not in service" message.

i suspect someone in india or pakistan or romania has hijacked this number and is having a merry old time.

I'm pretty sure they using a computer to setup a fake number if this is the case. you can do a lot with programming knowledge.
anyways called twice, first said hello no answer  I just start pushing the numbers to make noise if I get annoyed and hung up
They called again 10 seconds later and I just hung up

I'm in Canada and just recieved a call from a young man with an east indian accent. He told me my husband had filled in a ballet back in December and had won one of 4 possible prices...all of which were good! He ask me to verify my age group...and household income bracket. Then he told me to hold the line while he got his supervisor to speak to me with a verification number for my prize. I then hung up and within 1 min my phone rang again but I didn't answer this time and no message. I then called the number and a recording said this number is not in service.

There you go...same story but new twist!

Timeshare sales? Heavy Indian accent. Asked for my wife, left no message.

I have been getting phone calls from the same number 3072151001,nightly for months. I never answer and they don't leave a message.I finally answered and it took about 10-15 seconds for someone to come onto the phone so it must be a computer assisted telemarketer. The person who answered sounded as if they were calling from far away. I told them to stop calling me once and for all. We'll see if they actually stop.

Since the 1st of march 2008 I have recieved two or three phone calls a day from this number.  The voice changes slightly but overall it seems to be a very confused woman asking for Edwin Wang, a fictional man who I have never met.  The chinese and indian accents add interesting color to the encounters, but I have grown to detest these calls.

I'm in Toronto, Ontario Canada and had this number call this evening. Didn't even pick it up as I had no idea where the area code was from.
