They just called me right now, I did not recognize the number, so I did not answer and then I googled it.  They didn't leave a message on my machine

Today, on May 5 2008 got a call from this number (1-307-215-1001)
It'a real scam. First they said I won the prize, then they said I have to visit the centre at a certain time on a certain day with my wife (can't go without). The had some information for sure.
I told them to f*** And then called back this number. It was disconnected, no surprise.

Just got called by that number also. Picked it up & said hello, no response within 2 sec. so hung up.  We need to forget about searching for this number, it's just a counterfeit.  All the numbers being used for these spamscams are counterfeit. These prickxs know how to defeat caller ID and none of the government protectors have figured out how to defeat THEM.

Woman said she was JC Anderson calling from the Better Business Bureau and wanted to clarify information about my business.  She tried to get me to first verify the company name.  I told her to send me a letter and she hung up.

Calls our business 1-2X per week and harassing my employees and then hangs up on them b/c I have instructed all to be polite and civil.  From now one will hang up and report your number everytime as a violation b/c we have requested no calls.

Say they are inquiring about our free business listing and then proceed to read our information from our web site to me!?!!?

They just called me and didn't say anything and finally hung up on me.

They call my job at least twice a day and say nothing.  I'd love to speak to them at this point.  They've just called for the the fourth time today.

Call rec'd on 5/27/08. Claims they are with AT&T and that my service has expired.  (HOW does my phone service expire? LOL)  I asked for a number to call him back and they guy said he would call me back in 15 minutes.  I told him if he didn't have a phone number for me to call him then DO NOT call back.  I hung up.  I needed to make another call but they guy was STILL on the line.  I tried several times and finally had to yell at him and tell him to "GET OFF MY LINE!" before he would hang up.  BEWARE--AT&T does not block their phone number or Caller ID!!!

Did any of you guys do research regarding "conspiracy theories" or view any "alternative" news sites prior to being called by this number?

gah this number just called me i answered and they didnt.... we've been getting really weird calls lately and i put myself on that donotcall thing awhile ago... someone is getting ripped into when i find where they got my number

I'm in Denmark (Europe) and I just received a call from this number. Lady with a strong Indian accent. The connection was really bad, so we had a hard time hearing each other, so after around 2 minutes she said: "Okay, I'll hang up, thank you" or something. And we hung up.

I wonder how the heck they got my number in Denmark? It makes no sense.

Anyway. Went to Google, searched for the number. Got here. End of story! :-)

Got a call, and the woman said "Good Evening, Ma'am, are you the lady of the house?"
I said, I'm sorry, I'm not interested.  If I don't know you, I'm not interested."  It's the first time I've used that, and it worked really well.  She really didn't know what to say...
I said thank you and hung up.

i just received a call from 307 215 1001 and I didn't answer as I don't answer unknown numbers- but I let it go to voicemail and a long message was left- more than a minute- but no clear words were heard- just backround noise- I mistakenly deleted it however so I don't know how long the actually recording was. Has anyone tried calling this number back?

This number 307-215-1001 with the caller id of Wyoming call keeps calling my house at least once to twice a day.  When I go to answer the call no one answers.  I try to call back but a message stating that this number has changed or is no longer in service answers.  It is quite irritating.  I don't know how this number even got a hold of my house number.  If anyone has any information about this, please share.

Received the call at 1:24 p.m. today.  My daughter was the only one at home and she knows not to answer numbers she doesn't know.  No message.  Googled it and it's a Casper, WY number.  I'm not calling it back because I know it's a bunch of bullsh**.

got the call at 12:05 pm today.  answered, but no one was there!  gripes the you know what out of me!!!!
have all my numbers on DNC list.  but i think that is a big joke!  it sure didn't stop any calls to any of my numbers!

I got a call twice today from this # but didn't answer. No message left. Says Wyoming call and when I called it back it said it wasn't in service. Was surprised to find as much stuff about it when I googled it.

Called our business line, they were looking for "the man of the house" - I mentioned that this was a business line, she apologized, and that was that.

I've gotten calls from this # twice this week, but didn't answer.  No voicemail left. I hope this doesn't become a reoccuring issue. They always seem to call around the time I am going to bed!
