Have been receiving calls which hang up when I respond from this number on both my home business  and personal lines.  I am in Canada and these phones are on the "do not call" list.  I will be complaining to the CTRC

Just one more complaint.  No message and I do not answer unless I know the person calling.

Got a call at 12:30 on Sunday.  No one answered when I said "hello".  So as someone who wrote before said, it's probably a scammer trying to sell valid numbers to other scammers.  I called the number back and got a message "Your call cannot be completed as dialed.  Please check the number and dial again."  What is up with that?  I can't even tell them to take me off their list.

The number is spoofed, which means that whomever is calling is a criminal.. I just received a call also.  Number will now be blocked.

No message.call back says number is disconnected

No message left. Unidentified caller. Added to my call blocked list.

it's annoying because I live in Canada why the eff am I getting a call from some Yankee prick in Wyoming

All of us here in North America, whether we speak English, French or Spanish, want to express our thanks to you. Where would we be without people like you? It takes true morons, like you, to remind us of how truly blessed the rest of us are.
Get a grip you mental midget. The calls aren't coming from Wyoming. They aren't even coming from a part of the globe that you could point at on a globe. The calls are being spoofed. They could be coming from your sisters room or they could be coming from your inflatable girlfriends apartment. They're probably coming from a scammer in a place like India or Pakistan. Don't concern yourself too much about it. They're looking for money. You don't have any.

I've saved this number to my caller ID under "scam" so if they call again I'll know to ignore it.

Spoofed number, most likely looking to confirm a database to sell to telemarketers and political campaign offices. Best we can do is post on this forum so people can learn that they're not alone with this inconvenient crime and hope this idiot gets caught eventually.

For those receiving calls on modern smartphones with service providers that allow this feature, use your phone's "block caller" or "block contact" feature. For those on landlines, call your service provider and block the number or use the key pad features to do the same, Most landline services provide number blocking for free now, but make sure you check with your service provider before blocking a number. You don't want to end up with surprise charges on your bill.

Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

I got the call at 5:04 pm today.  No one responds............

Same experience here in B.C. as all others ... Why can't phone companies do something about those people. A judge in Nova Scotia ruled that a phone company is responsible to protect its clients.
