Calls from a number that is supposedly disconnected when calling back. Some kind of scam

Did not answer. It stays on the line just long enough to leave me an empty voicemail.

i scanned all of the posts and not one person said they spoke with a live or robotic person or received a message.I agree that it is some creepy scammer who is just searching for 'live' lines....numbers where the phone is picked up. Happily, my strange phone sends unanswered calls to a fax machine perhaps making the creep on the other end think there is no point calling back.We'll see...

Obviously a scam - answered phone and no one answered.

Tired of these people calling.it needs to stop.don't know who it is but it's getting old.

I just rec'd a call from this number (307) 217-6853, when I said hello there was quiet and then they hung up. Marking it spam.

Didn't recognize it and left a blank voicemail. Marking as spam after reading all these comments.

No answer.  Eventual hang-up.  From Buffalo, WY per caller ID.  If our government cannot protect us from these spammers, what are we paying the FTC and the FCC and the CFPB for?

No ID.  No message.

Just got a call at my office from this number. I picked up and nobody was there.

Answered, because I recognized the area code and have had recent dealings in Wyoming. There was no response.

Didn't answer at first, but called the line back and it was "Power Hits 94 daily summer promo trivia contest"... apparently I won a trip to Bahamas based on the easiest trivia questions ever...

Called today at 11 am.  I don't answer unknown callers, always look up number and check 800notes.  Caller didn't leave message.  Will block number.

Keep calling aND when I answer no one answerace. I keep blocking the numbers but they call from different extensions.

Yup, this number 307-217-6853 called our office, no message left.

This number called the office yesterday after hours. There was no message.

Silence.  Dead air.
