They have called me twice (4/Sept/14 and 10/Sept/14).   2nd time they called, I did not pick up, and they did not leave a message.

Automated teller calling to try and sell me a life alert system. Have attempted to be removed from their list repeatedly. Every time I've hit the "unsubscribe" button I've been hung up on and called again in the next week. When I called to be connected to the operator they immediately hung up on me when I attempted to complain about their automated system.

It's the old "if you don't buy our product you will fall down and die" message.

The  ONLY  purpose in the medic alert for seniors scammer's calls to us, is to get our credit card numbers, so they can cheat us!

It seems like the Non Profit companies are exempt from the rules of the DNC list.

This Life Alert  company aka scammer to the senior's might have this designation. I don't answer the phone at all anymore and they did not leave a message. Typical of junk phone callers

FYI,  don't respond or press any number to unsubscribe... that only tells them they have a "live number" and will keep harassing you.  They are probably using the "non profit" designation for their business which would make them exempt from the DNC - FCC rules to not call.  Don't give them fuel for the fire. We can't win, unless a law is passed that eliminates ANY exemptions.

Life Alert annoys me once a day with a robo call! I report them on donotcall.gov.

Message left in my voice mail - "I through some of people 8 65 and older than one at a 5, Hip Fracture patients die within the error of there injury. Don't Campbell with your personal health and safety get a free medical alert system shipped to you for free with no charge for activation, but you must act now, press 1 to get your free system, press 5, to be removed, but to be protected 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, press 1 now. Yeah. Goodbye."

Would love to tie a rope around this jokers neck, start pulling it tight, tell him to press 5 if he wants me to stop pulling the rope, but of course, I keep pulling the rope tighter and tighter each time he presses 5, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.

Which is a over seas spoofed number and Guess what ? YOU CANNOT BLOCK IT!  NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN!
ATT can't even block it cause their sorry POS system only Blocks  10 Digit Number's  Not 12 .
These  Thieves  POS's and basic Trash  people use the Caller I/D Spoof with 12 Digits to Hound you People to Hell and Back and  until Phone Service Providers Can get OFF their Fat Lazy  Ass's  and  Fix their systems  your just SCREWED!
and if if they are Able to Block 12 Digits on spoofed or any numbers  other wise?

I  have 9 Spoof  Crooks that have called me Religiously  for over 7 years with 11 and 12 Digit numbers.
and until you can get a police Report filed  and  then File it with your phone provider and have them do a Trace?
to gain the actual Number they are calling From  Then You can Never block it.

Tire of these calls? Call your congress person each and every time you receive one of these calls! Ain't gonna stop till they make the phone companies stop the calls from going through. Yes, it's gonna take some dreaded legislation, but that is what legislation is for! Or would you just rather be "on your own" and just put up with the calls forever?

Call Block is a WONDERFUL thing.  Get it.  If you get a 11 or 12 digit number, than block part of those numbers...they won't ring through.

No they don't!  A computer randomly dials numbers.  They are not programmed by some list.  They call ANY number and EVERY number (eventually)!

My call blocking system (on my new Panasonic phones) lets me put in only the area code (or any part of a number) and it blocks everything.  I could put in the first 3 numbers (113) or just 307 and the calls are blocked.  With my system, I do not have to put in the whole number...so yes, I can block the long overseas numbers.

Caller id says Life Alert.  I never answer unknown or unsolicated calls

Robo call....over and over .....day after day....

Call your congress person, over and over, day after day!

I wonder if we called the REAL Life Alert company and complained to them if they would have a little more success in putting a stop to this scammer crap we're experiencing? I'm going to try at least-nothing to loose as these calls have been coming in for weeks on end now. I even turned my answering machine off to simulate a number that's no longer in service or the occupant is never home.

Never, never, never ever press 1, 9, 0 or any other number in hopes of getting somebody on the line to chew out. All you're doing is verifying a "real person" is at that number and if you think you're getting a lot of calls now-just you wait! You ain't see nuttin' yet, friend. Another sure fire way to get more solicitor calls is go on the FCC site and register your number as "DO NOT CALL" with them. It will probably be handled like most other bureaucratic undertakings. Good luck, you'll need it.
