Received a call from this number too, but caller ID does not identify caller.  Answered the call and nobody is there.

Received a call, but only silence when I picked up.

They started calling my home phone some weeks ago with automated messages that claim to have permission from my credit card company to call me, but I don't have a credit card, so I knew it was a scam. The recording stated that, "we are calling about lowering your interest rates, and we have permission from your credit card company to call you, but this offer won't last much longer so please press one to talk to a live person, and press nine to be removed from our list."

I pressed nine, but they called back later that evening, so I reported them to the DoNotCall Registry. Even if you aren't registered on the do not call list, you can still report any phone call that is automated, as robocalling is flat out illegal.

Anyway, after I made the complaint, they stopped calling my home phone.

Instead started calling my cell phone today with the same automated message and voice. I again pressed 9 to be taken off the list, but they called again, an hour later. This time I pressed one to talk to someone to tell them to take me off the list, but when I did it rang, and hung up on me. So, I made another complaint to the do not call list registry. They say only that its the "credit card company" and never give an actual name.

They called my cell phone twice in quick succession. I didn't respond as I didn't recognize the number and the area code was not local. They left a silent voice mail.

SCAM!!! They several thousand different numbers and ID's. Off shore scammers that the Feds cannot stop.

310-495-5205 left pre-recorded voicemail message from "ashley martin" about lowering credit card payments. The message made it sound like she were returning my call, which she wasn't. "Ashley" left a call-back number 1-877-828-7254 which has many scam reports of its own.

I just received a call on my cell phone.  I don't give this number out and don't understand why anyone should have it that I don't know.  I have also been receiving messages that sound similar to those described by others
on my home phone.  These people are a nuisance at best.  What is their point anyway?

This number called my cell on Oct 2, 2012. I answered but no one was there.

Yes, same lengthy message.. starts up as if it is in the middle of the conversation and as if it is a returning call.  Never dealt with these folks before.  Almost the same conversation as "JC" notes.  

I have a new cell phone (new number to me).  I have answered it twice and there is no response.  Other times they do leave messages, always the same.  This is on a work cell.  Very, very annoying.  I have reported it to my tech folks here at the office.  We'll see if we can get this blocked.  

What is the point of all this besides constant annoyance at the worksplace?  At home, I have call blocker.

No one there when picked up phone

Called home landline number. Came up on caller ID as Culver City, CA.. Rang several times and when I answered, there was only silence. I wish calls like this would cease..

Just got a call from 310-495-5205. There was a message left from a consumer advocacy group? Sounded like an ambulance chaser looking for people that feel they have a case against a drug they have been taking.

Received a call which I answered but no response. I have been receiving numerous calls on my other (house) number but I do not have caller ID on that line.

Robo call from an ambulance chaser starting a lawsuit for people who too YAZ.

An automated call from a "consumer protection group" wanting to know if I have suffered side effects from Yaz- which I believe is a birth control pill.  I'm a dude so clearly this is not applicable to me.  Please, please, please, please report these callers to the Do Not Call Registry complaint division.

If more people systematically reported these people, maybe something could be done about telemarketing.
