Automated call playing a spiel relating to the drug Yaz or Yazmin.  

"...you may be entitled to compensation..."

Nuisance call.

Got a voicemail message from this number this evening, saying I was entitled to "financial compensation" and to hit 1 to speak to a representative, or hit 9 to be taken off of their list.  I deleted the voicemail and did not call back.

Caller ID said it was from Culver City, CA.

Got it this morning on my cell while at work. Telemarketing robo-caller. Report to the FTC.

Apparently the lower than whale [***] scumbag lawyers aren't making any money off their television commercials so now they are calling everybody they can to see if they can convince them to be accomplices in their scams.  Another good reason why we still have guns in this country.  Time to declare open season on lawyers.

Commercial call regarding transvaginal Mesh, Bladder Mesh etc. asking for a call back if you have had any problem with a list of Mesh products after surgery.  I live in Oregon and see these commercials all the time on TV.  Now they are calling my cell phone.

Left message on a work VM (called my work mobile #) claiming they "were returning my call and had verified the ability to lower my interest rate". Hung up at this point as no one has my work cell # outside of co-workers and home family members. Reporting to DNC registry. Ridiculous.

Just got a phone call from them, answered and no one said anything. Such a nuisance to have to deal with this crap. If you see this number on your ID caller, do not pick up.

This person called me but when I answered and said hello, they immediately hung up.

1/23/13  6:20pm  no message - Typical random robo calls.  6th one this week from various numbers.

This phone number belongs to a public utility named CallerID4U, Inc., which is run by Paul Maduno and Luis Martinez.  They have entered into revenue sharing agreements with telemarketers who make illegal unsolicited telephone calls.  They profit directly from these outbound unsolicited telephone calls.

This appears to be a clear violation of a number of laws, including 16 C.F.R. §310.3(b) of the Federal Telemarketing Sales Rule.

Please take a moment to report this call via an online complaint to regulators.

Same and cannot get through when call is returned

It called my cell phone with a pre recorded message saying something like if I knew of anyone who was injured or died from taking some kind of birth control then now is my chance to get money

Just received a message on my home phone saying "This is Ashley Martin and just getting back to you regarding our conversation last week concerning lowering your rate to 1.5%. This is my last courtesy call so you need to call back today @ 855-475-2191.

   Robo-call asking if I knew of anyone injured by some sort
of drug or procedure.
   Just 'block' the number. It's probably the Nigerians.

There are always a few 'counter-measures' that one can take, but it
takes a little time ...
The real [***] are the cell phone companies. I can block any 'unknown'
number from a landline, but the cell phone companies will tell you
that they "don't yet have the technology" to do this. BS
I was in telecommunications for 28+ years. They have the technology
but don't ever want to use it. Why? It might 'diminish' the frantic use
of feverish teenagers (sawdust for brains) of their product.
Therefore, simply give everyone on your 'known contact' list a particular
ringtone. The rest, obviously, are folks you don't know.
I, even, have the option to make my 'generic' ringtone silent. As in, if
you don't know the dude, they must leave a voicemail.
Just peruse your cellphone user manual and/or call customer
service. But, you'll have to tell them exactly what it is that you want
to accomplish.
I, for one, have disabled "texting" on my cellphone. A phone is a phone,
not a "chat site". That is only for brain-dead teenagers, but not for the
ones who use the product sensibly, at home, when they are not driving.

Please block this call.

they tried calling my cell phone, I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message .   I searched the number and found this msg board and added the number to my reject list on my cell phone... first this then the call from "Windows Technical Support' -   what people won't do to try and get your $$ .
