This number called my verizon cell phone on January 23, 2013. I did not answer it. Is it a telemarketer?

I just received a call from this number with the city listed as Culver City, CA.  I answered and an automated message asked if me or anyone in my family had taken Yaz, Yazmin and another name (all birth control pills) and had suffered blood clots, stroke and a number of other diseases.  It said to dial 1 if yes and I would be transferred to a representative.  It said to dial 9 if I wanted to be removed from the list.  I dialed 9 but now I'm wondering if I should have.  Hopefully they won't call again.

Receiving scam calls from this number   Do not want any more calls from this number.

Auto- dialer (robocall)  here's the message left.

Group, Hey, if you or a loved one has suffered from blood clots, D thing from both this or even a stroke after taking the medication yet. Yasmeen, or of, sellouts, press 1 now. Your maybe entitled to financial compensation press one now to speak with a representative or press 9, to be removed.

Mine was the same as Steph. Lawsuit against Yaz  if you got bloodclots ect..

this was a call about the drug yaz  "from a consumer advocacy group" so they said.

I empathize with this post because it also happend to me. My cell number is only given to those I trust/family and I don't know why someone who I don't know or deal with would call. More annoying is that they do not leave a message on the voice mail. The FCC should put more efforts into eliminationg these scammers, than concentrating on lesser things whithin the communications system. Don't answer or trust a call from 310-495-5205!

Same thing, I just got a call from this number and didn't pick up, received a blank voicemail message, think we should all block this number.

Received a call from this number on my cell (my number is not published and few have it). I did not answer the call because I did not recognize the number and no ID on it. It doesn't look like they left a message.

Made the mistake of answering this call.  Recording saying they were representing a "drug advocacy group" so I just hung up.

I do not have a home phone so they call my cell phone. I have an app called Call Control and it blocks numbers it can identify as spam and such. but if a call makes it through the first time I click add them to the registry and then everytime they call they go right to voice mail same with spam texts. its great.
