- Rich| 1 replyCaller ID showed two calls from this number within 2 days when I wasn't home to answer. I was home and answered a third call. But, the sound quality of that call was so poor that I could make out very little of what the person was saying -- it was very muffled and echoing. After telling the person several times that I couldn't understand what he was saying, I was able to hear something like he had some questions (about something) and it would take only 3 - 4 minutes and he asked if I would answer the questions. I told him that I would try. He asked the first question and I couldn't understand a single word of it so I told him that I wasn't going to do his survey because of the bad phone quality. That was yesterday and so far no further calls today from that number -- I did receive a call from 111-111-1111 today that I didn't answer, but I am assuming for now that the calls from the two different numbers aren't related. The name on the caller ID for the 310-862-9008 calls was "AUTO FOLLOWUP" and as the calls started about 5 days after I had auto repair work done at a Chevrolet-Cadillac dealer I strongly suspect that these calls were follow up/marketing calls arranged for by that car dealership. Although the dealer did good work on the car, these follow up calls are irritating especially when it means they gave my name/number to some marketing company.

- Chris| 1 replyThis is not a telemarketing company. They are a survey company hired by companies that you do business with whether it be a financial institution or an auto dealership. I received a call from this number regarding the last service I had on my vehicle. The main point, they are not trying to sell you anything. They just want your opinion on the service you received.

- Rich replies to RichSome additional info concerning the above post: I did receive another call from the 310-862-9008 number this evening and it was, as previously suspected, a survey call on behalf of the auto dealership where I had some repair work done. I reluctantly agreed to do the survey and the 4th question or so was worded something like "What would be the one thing that would have made your visit to the dealership more enjoyable?" My response to that was "To not have these follow up phone calls". The caller immediately said that we could stop the survey if I didn't want to do it, volunteered to put my number on their do not call list, and apologized for any inconvenience. It was all done in a very polite and professional manner so I have no problem/issue with the company hired to do the survey (unless they call again or use my phone number for something else). I would have felt much more comfortable had the dealership asked for approval to give out my phone number to a 3rd party for a survey. The dealer has used information in their service department's database before for some inane and deceptive sales marketing so I don't really trust them much; but as far as I can tell this survey company is legitimate and professional.
- blahThey are calling looking for response due to auto work done. I dont like them calling, they call every day of the week, even on SUNDAY at 9PM!!!!!
- DennyI have been getting a call daily for over a week. I don't pick up, and they don't leave a message.
- tired of annoying callsI received a call from this number once on my cellphone Friday afternoon and again on my cell Saturday afternoon. Both showed the number in my missed calls. After reading the other comments on here saying they are mostly car dealer related surveys I'm certain that a local car dealership gave them my cell number because I had repair work done there on Wednesday and the calls started 2 days later. I'm not happy about it, cell calls eat minutes and I gave the cell number to the dealership so I'd know when to pick up my car, not for some survey they didn't even ask me about. I'll be complaining to them and plan to call the number given in an earlier post about how to request they stop calling me. but the service cost more than i was quoted and i feel it was overpriced, so maybe i should tell them that first!
- terithey said i was entered into a sweepstakes and just needed to confirm my address what is this
- SharonI took my car to a dealership in town this past Saturday for a safety and emissions test.. and I just got a phone call this afternoon about 4:40pm from this number. Lucky them I didn't answer because I was napping at the time but since googling this number and finding out it's someone looking for surveys and the dealership GAVE OUT MY NUMBER *punts dealership* they're lucky that I didn't answer or someone would be nursing a chewed [***].. I hate phone soliciters..ugh.
- TishI've gotten a couple of calls from this number, but didn't know who they were. If they are Synovate, they are a legitimate survey company - I've done paper surveys for them for a few years. If this really is them, it isn't a scam.

- KI got a call from this number today and they left a message about my experience with the service center of a local auto dealer. I guess the dealership hired whoever owns this number to do a customer satisfaction survey?

- J.R.Calls from 310-862-9008 every day for the past three weeks. I refuse to answer and they never leave a message. How do I get them to STOP!
- new carI've now gotten this call for the past two nights on my cell phone. They have yet to leave a message and I do not answer calls from people I don't know. After reading comments on here I think maybe it has something to do with me buying a new car over the past weekend....stupid spam!
- KTI've been getting calls from this number on my cellphone daily for about a week. Sometimes it has been more than once or twice a day, at all different times. After reading other people's messages, I realized that they started after I had my car serviced at the local Jeep dealership, so I'm guessing it's a survey. Not sure I want to go back to that dealership now that I'm getting all these calls- I don't usually answer if I don't recognize the number.
- RachelI registered for a synovate survey thing online, so I'm assuming it's related. I've gotten 3 voicemails on my privatephone free online voicemail-only number, so it doesn't bother me at all. 1 was 1 sec, one 3, and one 7 and were all totally blank, silent except for an idistinguishable noise at the beginning of the 7-second one.
- MishaI called the number. It is marketing research junk. It says if you want to call the corporate office, to call 866-320-4607. I called to get my name off the list. There is an option to remove your number from thier call list. I did it, we will see in a few days if they continue to call.
- anoidI missed the call. No mesg was left. I thought to google the number and found this site. GREAT JOB! Thanks all.
- S.F. replies to dgleesonI don't know how they got my number, but I can tell you one thing. I'm NOT very happy about it. How can I get them to STOP!
- katinkI want this to stop right now... can anyone help me!
- Miss GI got this call after I took my car in for the 5K tune-up. I called 866-320-4607 and put my number on the Do Not Call list. Ironically, the automated voice also asks "If you have questions and would like someone to contact you, press 1 for yes, press 2 for No!" LOL. If I get another call I'll post here again, if I don't post again it's because it worked!

- sueThese people call frequently but never leave messages. The only identification is "Auto follow-up." I figure if it's a legitimate phone call, a message will be left.
