These people just call and hang up repeatedly all day.

Have been getting calls from this number almost a dozen times a day, 6 days a week. Have it blocked now, what a pain.

No message, but they called 3 times (so far) today already.

There are two different numbers that come up one private and this one is a scam ...Comes up as an invalid number ...blocking ...they called today 6 times so far.

They have called 5 day in the last 30 hours  and 14 times in the last few days

First call was to set up an online account to repay student loans, I told them it was a scam and hung up. Second call I didn't answer. Third call said that I qualified for forgiveness. Asked if I was making payments now. Told them NO. Asked if I could pay $39/month. I said NO. He hung up. It was the exact same person both times. I think he is also the one saying that I qualified for a government grant. Also a scam!

Called my wife twice. Typical students t loan bullsh*t. We're fine. Go bark up someone else's  tree.

They've been calling me as well.  Always a middle eastern accent with a Christian name ... go figure.   I have filed a complaint with the do not call registry, if that will do any good at all.  I don't even have a student loan.  I finally got it paid off years ago.

I get calls about 10 times a day. Then they mark it private like I can't figure it out. If this persists I'm changing my number..

This number calls me often, even while I'm working!  I never answer.

I answered it they did say from student forgiveness and said they sent me an email with a code. And,  when i said im busy they just hang up.  I tried to call back but it wont go thru.

Sound like a total scam.

How do i block the number?  I have an android

This number has called me daily for 3 week saying they can lower my car insurance! The first week I did not even confirm my name but I kept saying don't call me. Then I reported it to the federal trade commission http://www.donotcall.gov since then I stopped answering but they started calling 2-3x daily now. I would block them but I want evidence for the trade commission to stop this so it doesn't happen to someone who will give them information.

What makes you think anyone sold information?  It isn't a stretch to think that people have some sort of loan at the time the call is made.  Most likely this is the student loan forgiveness scam.  Again, thousands of people have gone to college and have loans.  Not a stretch to think that if they make thousands of calls a day they will hit on some that actually do have loans.
