Called me right now. Did not answer and they did not leave a message. Google search brought up something about student loans, so I'm guessing it's stupid sales people trying to sell me something else about my student loans and/or forgiveness. I'm not eligible for forgiveness and am on the do not call list, so this makes be double frustrated and I want these types of calls to stop already.

Im receiving way too many calls and blank voice messages. I called the number back from my office phone and someone in the Mayors Office picked up and said the number I called was not their number even though it was the exact number all over my call log. She told me to reprot it to the Attorney General's office as a scam number.

And they just called again.

They told me I qualified for school loan forgiveness. I hung up.

Scam call regarding a non existing student debt

This number called me out of the blue saying that I qualified for the Obama student loan forgiveness program. They had my address. They told me to go to https://www.nslds.ed.gov/ and create a FSA ID using an userid and password that they were going to give me. A legit gov organization doesn't call you, they mail you. Also, no one should tell you to create an account using a specified username/password.

They called 4 times today and no left mesg

They asked for me by name, but since I answered pretending to be a Chinese restaurant, they could barely understand me, and I kept demanding they order food, they finally gave up. Hopefully that is the end of that.

Calls my cell about 8 times a day and night. Will not leave a message.

Fake 311 area code now blocked. Block any fake area codes that call.

This number calls me day and night all week and on weekends. I have not answered.

Whoever calls me on this number various times of the day never answers, but just listens and hangs up!!

That is so funny! We ALL should do the same thing!!!!

They call early(before 8 am) and late (after 9pm) I'm just grateful that I can set my Do Not Disturb on my phone so that I don't have to deal with it. When I've answered I can hear the call center noises and I asked why they were calling. I get the standard "we're trying to prevent your system from going down." I inform them that I don't have a personal system but I do have a system that has been provided by the Federal Government to grab scammers and then I thank them for staying on the line long enough for the system to capture their info. That has stopped them from calling me for 5 days. I'll see if it lasts.

Calls my cell phone 5-6 times a day

I keep doing it, and it actually has produced results. I've cut down significantly on the number of calls I'm getting. Another goodie: "Good point! Hello, next caller, you're on the air!"

I received a call from 311-971-1854.  Said they were from the the Federal Government student loan program and asked that I access my email,and give them the code they sent.  When I looked at it closely, they went onto my FASA Student loan page and requested a password reset.  What they were asking for were the 6 digit reset codes.   So scary!!!!  I hung up immediately.

They never leave a message, I finally answered they laim to be calling about  a student loan forgiveness program under Obama care.
