Didn't know the govt has phone numbers with fake area codes. BLOCKED!

Called twice no message. Blocked number.

This number is on my caller I D a few times each day but never a message

Have called 3 times a day for the last several days.  One time Indian guy one time Chinese sounding,  saying they are from Microsoft. One time I went along to hear the bs-said I had malware on my computer and if I didn't give them remote access to remove it all my info would be stolen. I laughed at the guy then told him he was a damn liar because I had literally got my computer back from geek squad that morning.  It's getting really annoying now with the constant calls.

I don't know, but I get a kick outta these odd numbers 😂

Everytime when I answer the phone as an Indian accent man talking about he can help me with my student loans when I'm already in a roll with a company to help me with my student loans he has one of my email address and he wants another one no thanks I'm hung up on his [***]

This number keeps calling me. The first time it called, someone asked for me by name. Afterwards, it keeps calling and not saying a word.

Scammers, left no messages, called 11 times a day

I keep getting calls from foreigners with different numbers saying they are IRS, MICROSOFT,GIVING OUT GRANTS ETC... I keep ignoring and blocking every number and report it but they keep calling from different number. I am so fed up. Just Stop!!!

Called my work. I pick up the phone & put them on hold after reading this thread.

They called today. Indian gentleman claiming to help me with my student loans.( I don't even have a student loan) so I played along NOT making a account in the studen loan web page . At the end he just got frustrated and asked for my SS# and DOB.. I gave him fake ones and after 45 I started laughing he got mad and hung up:)

Phishing for personal info. Told me I qualified for up to 80% off my student loans because of my family size and annual income. I told him my loans we taken care of and were already settled. He said that is why I qualified and asked how many people in my family and what my annual income was. Obviously a scam! He wanted me to check my email, told him I have no internet access. Told him to call back at end of week...trying to do research on this but not having much luck. One site said 311 area code is in Iran.

Loan for my business from some Indian sounding woman. Scam of course. I mentioned that their phone number was being charged by the 5 second increments for this call and kept her on the line. She was not happy of course.

Called THREE times in ONE MINUTE. and left no message

Called me on 9-17-19 in afternoon claiming to be from Social Security.  I returned call and man sounded Asian.  I started asking questions like what address were they located at for Social Security.  Instead of providing me immediately with an address, he began to say scammer-like stuff.  So I hung up.  I have submitted the proper complaints, as this would seem to be a Federal Offense to claim you are representing a Federal Agency.  Correct?
