Recieved a missed call from 312-775-1287 at work, phone showed from IPSOS.  Googled it and found information on it.

Ipsos is a global market research company, specializing in advertising, loyalty, marketing, media and public affairs market research.

Answered to find another robo call...caller ID listed as IP505 or IS SOS...When sked, Ashley identified herself as being with Consumer Resaerc...they seem to have numerous numbers!

On DNC list and still getting these scam artists multiple times a day!

Hung up when I answered. I see these other calls were made 5 years ago, so I guess these people calling just keep changing numbers...and still bothering people. I'm on the do not call list.

NUMBER COMES UP BUT YOU CAN NOT CALL IT BACK.
AND IT SEEMS TO BE AN ON GOING PROBLEM WITH OTHERS AS WELL.

got 8 calls from this number in one day. sick of getting these calls

I keep getting calls from this number.  I don't answer.  I do NOT have BCBS for my health insurance, I have a completely different health insurance company.  This makes no sense.

Showed up on caller ID but they left no message.  Thanks to all the folks who have commented about this number because I will block them now.

IPSOS marketing research. According to GOOGLE their headquarters is in Paris. Yes, as in France. It's a French owned marketing research company. The lady who I spoke with had a heavy accent and I just said don't call back. Added number to call block on phone.

Got the call, the Oriental sounding lady was very polite, and asked my if this was a business number. I answered yes, and she apologized and hung up.

Caller ID said "Name not found."

Probably market research - or some such BS.

This number has called my house nine times in the last two days.  I never answer but it is getting really annoying.

Happy 800 notes is here!  I didn't answer and wouldn't know why I would.  WHAT IS THERE ABOUT THE CANADIAN DO NOT CALL LIST THESE PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND?

Received call April 8, 2013.  Did not answer.  They never give up.  Sometimes they use other numbers -- all from IPSOS (?) or something like that -- apparently a market research firm (?).

please find out who this is and make them stop!!

these calls can be blocked if you have that service also I dont know what state you are in buy where I am there is a national do not call list...good luck

This number has been calling my home phone relentlessly.  Caller ID gives company name of IPSOS.  I have told them repeatedly that I am not interested in their market research.  When they called again today, I asked to be put on their Do Not Call list, however, the caller ignored my numerous requests and continued his monologue.  I finally hung up. I find it pathetic that there is no recourse for this type of harassment.

Called from this # land line 4-16-13, 4-15-13, 4-14-13, again 4-14-13.  Persistent jokers, I must admit.  Never answered any of their calls.

get this call a lot on my home number. have call block on phone service but the system will not accept number. never answer call when it comes in. figure they will eventually give up. don't understand, though, why they call since my number is on the Do Not Call list. guess that some people just don't pay attention to the rules or figure the rules don't apply to them.

This is NOT a scam, it is a legitimate SURVEY company. Survey calls which do not attempt to sell you anything are EXEMPT from the FTC regulations regarding the Do Not Call list.  Again-- these are NOT scammers, they are just annoying survey-takers, who get paid to take public opinion/attitude polls.

If the calls annoy you, you can ask them to be placed on their "internal" Do Not Call list, and/or block the phone number yourself, if you have that capability. The first option may not be viable, as IPSOS is a global company, with branch offices in many countries. Since they are not subject to the US FTC's DNC list rules, they have no real incentive to maintain their own Do Not Call list. Sorry.
