Forget about stopping the calls if this is a spoofed number.  Federal and local Do Not Call lists are embarrassments.  All these guys treat the fines - yeah, right - as jokes.  If the number is spoofed, you can't even block it.  AT&T says "sorry" we can't do anything about it.

Robo call from a pollster.  Won't leave a message, won't stop calling, won't receive incoming calls, won't identify self.  They make money off of people who are gullible enough to answer their questions for free.  http://www.ipsos-na.com/

Received a call on 10/18/2014 @ 7:33 pm. I did not answer because I do not answer for numbers I don't know. The answer machine picked up but no message was left.

The person who called, left a voice mail with only a SIGH!
I have no idea who the caller is, but suspect it is not a call I want to accept.

I have read the posts here, I got a phone call tonight from the 3127751287. He asked for the head of household. I said NO, PLEASE REMOVE OUR NAME FROM YOU LIST!  guess we will see if this works!

got 2 calls from this number 1 312 775 1287 today 11/17/2014 caller id IPSOS they called at 5:40pm and again at 7:10pm never left a message and hung up. we have our number on the national do not call list.

call received from 312-775-1287; said it was Ipsos (?) -- I asked how they got my number, since I am on the do not call list; woman tried to continue. I had to ask twice to be removed from their list, but don't know whether the request would be respected.

Received a call from Esmeralda who was doing some market research. Her questions focused on the method of payments our company excepted and she pushed hard on new POS machines.

No message left, anyone who doesn't leave a message-always ignore, use this site-free- or any site that does this. Even if they leave message don't pick up, let them leave it, even if they say your name don't answer it, I left message here under different name am now signed up for a call from some scammer with Indian accent-no prejudice here-saying this is intended for the-my full name, how they got this is beyond me-and that you had better be advised that we are starting the legal actions against you so you better get an attorney and to call us back or this will get very big legal mess for you, and that's quoted. So I put this in for all you newbies to this crap-NEVER ANSWER ANY CALLS YOU DON'T RECOGNIZE, IF IT'S IMPORTANT THEY WILL CALL YOU BACK-LEAVE A MESSAGE IF IT'S AN EMERGENCY INVOLVING SOMEONE YOU KNOW-OR WAIT FOR THEM TO SEND YOU SOMETHING IF IT'S LEGAL RELATED, that's what your answering machine is for esp if you don't have caller ID or call blocking, always check on site like this first. This number left nothing, deleted it.

SOB;s called me at 9pm just as I was ready to get in the bed....I answered like a fool.....some girl started rattling off something about a survey........I read her the riot act and told her to remove my number from her list and then I hung up....these people are a total nusinance.....

I've received several calls a day for the past week from this number. Caller left no message on my voicemail. I'm on the Do Not Call list, but caller obviously doesn't care. I will block this number.

I have received phone calls repeatedly from this number. Today I answered it. The woman asked to speak to the owner stating that the owner had made a "Shop the neighbourhood" purchase that they need to speak to the owner. I said to the woman.... I think you are full of [***]. She said excuse me? I repeated it. Then I hung up. She called back and I did not respond. How do we stop these scam artists. I get at least a dozen a week if not more.

Best way to handle calls from unknown callers is to pick up, then hang up immediately. If you let it go to the answering machine, they know they've got an active line.
