Card services BS ....I took the call and went along witph the scam...first they ask for the customer service number that is on the card then the CC#...I asked since they claim to work with all CC companies why don'they have the customer service numbers....he then hung up..in the background I could hear people giving out their CC information...someone needs to stop thease scammmers or at least burn down their homes.

Did not leave a message. How do you block? I'm on the gov no call list for awhile now & have been getting 1-2 calls lately. I'm so careful about keeping it private, don't know what's up.

N,  the government do not call list does not block calls.  It is just a list of those who do not want to be called.
More than likely it is someone using a robo dialer.   Since it dials sequentially,  all phone numbers are up for grabs.

I have been receiving calls from these 'card services' telemarketers for over a year now. I have been blocking each number they have called with (over 40 at this point). And I have been filing complaints with the FTC Do Not Call Registry and the FCC complaint site, to no avail. I do suggest you all do the same, and do not talk to them or call them back.

But to really get some attention, I created a petition on the White House We The People site. Please go there and sign it, we have to get the word out any way we can:

On line petitions are useless. One asking the U.S. to build a "Death Star" recently got over 25,000 votes.

And, far from accomplishing nothing, the DNC registry has resulted in several of these "Card Services" scammers getting busted. The problem is that there are dozens (perhaps hundreds) of low-lifes running their own version of this particular scam. It's like muggers: we're never going to catch them all. A petition to the White House asking to catch them all is unlikely to change that.

Got one of these as a missed call, no message. Called back, got a call cannot be completed message.

I got a call from this number and they are stating I applied for a cruise.  I did not and did not give out my cellphone number. I am on No Call List too.

I got a call from them too today and there was no message and when I tried to call back it would not ring to a number at all.

Calling about a cruise i'm afraid to be surrounded by that much water so I know I didn't enter the contest anyway I simply pushed 2 so that I would be removed from the list pretty sure they'll still for call again.....THEY ALWAYS DO

Really ticks me off ... I'm in bahamas and each call is $2 that gets through... I will take it out of their hide when I get back stateside!

I got a call on my cell phone from this number. I kept saying hello, but nobody spoke, and there was no recorded message. We need to stop the phone harassment. It's against the law, but currently you have to notify the harassing person in writing.

I have no idea who is behind this number.  Several calls, no messages.  Tired of being interrupted with these bogus calls.

I got a call this morning, of course they end the call again, Yes on SCAM.
Just a group of ass-holes who play with them selfs and can't get real jobs.
Am on the DO NOT CALL REG. list but that is not working either.

i called Dan and said that one of his clients is scamming for credit card reductions

keep calling him until he does something to stop this insanity
