- Tom replies to CharI had a purchase denied last night. B o A did call me twice from this number to alert me to unusual purchases that were in fact my own. I believe the number is legit as my debit card was denied. I was also messaged by BoA. No info was asked just wanted me to verify I made the purchases.
315 724 4022 - Robertestx replies to Ree| 2 repliesI understand your hesitancy, but I decided to call them thinking if it were a scam I would probably be able to pick up on that as they question me and maybe their accent or something to that effect. So I called the number and it did give a message about if you're calling from overseas your Klekar will be accepted, then it sent me on over to the standard Bank of America automated teller that I am used to dealing with. It sounds exactly like the Bank of America teller that I are use when I call from the numbers I have in my phone. Through the process of me asking questions and answering questions I did determine it was BOA. Granted there are people who can spoof a number and could trick an unsuspecting person. But I can tell you for me, without question, this phone number is 100% legitimate.
- Robertestx replies to RobertestxSorry for the misspellings!!! Typing on my darn iPhone!!!
- ReeI just received the voice mail from the number located in Utica NY. I proceeded to the BoA website to get the report fraud phone number listed on the website. My card was in fact compromised somewhere I shopped and has been blocked and a new one has been sent to me. The lady said I should receive it in the next day or so.
- Caller: Bank of America
- lisaThis is Bank of America's fraud line, if you get any unusual activity on your debit card they will call and also send a email letting you know. You have to call the number back and verify your transactions. I have done this a few times, If you dont call the number back the next time you go to use your debit card you will be declined. You also can call the number on the back of your debit card and get same info that they need to verify your transactions.
It is safe and for your protection! These people above that say it is a scam or wrong.- Caller: bank of america

- BethTHIS IS A VALID BANK OF AMERICA NUMBER. I got a fraud alert email this morning because I purchased something online from a company in Australia so it triggered it. I went into my bank account online and looked up the alert history just to make sure the email had actually come from Bank of America and it did. So I called Bank of America's official number and took care of it. Then later I got three different phone calls from this 315 number that I missed (the 4th one I picked up). They told me it was still having issues and the guy on the phone did not speak English very well, so I was of course leery. He wanted my online ID and I didn't feel comfortable with that so he told me to call the number on the back of my card. I hung up and called the official Bank of American phone number and they actually verified that the person I had just spoken to had made that note in the account that I didn't feel comfortable and I would call back on the main line. THIS NUMBER IS COMPLETELY LEGIT - but if you don't feel comfortable speaking with them just call your bank.

- SamReceived a call from this number claiming to be BOA. The caller did not specify as to who's name the account was under. I called the bank and was told they had no record of a call to my home and that my account was in good standing. I was told as well, that it was someone trying to get my information.
- Linda replies to JennyI got the same thing. Bank of America has called me before and there was no overseas call

- Boa associateI work for BOA this is a valid number! Its the international collect line if you have any trouble using your card while traveling. If you call and they say its not us it is because they are lazy employees and only looking at the 800 numbers and not collect numbers. If you have any doubts just ask them questions about your account they will be able to tell you. It's there if you need any emergency cash or card while traveling, or if we find anything suspious while you are traveling.
- This number has been confirmed as a SCAMSCAM. This is NOT BofA calling you.

- No name replies to RobertestxIt's it 100% NOT Legit !!!
I got a call from it saying it was a collect call.... Hmmmm BOA doesn't call customers on collect calls.
I reported the number to Verizon and sure enough they have it in the list of droid numbers.....
DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE TRYING TO CONVINCE YOU IS AN OK NUMBER OR LEGIT. - MaryIt was an automated call from BOFA due in relation to a purchase I tried to make online less than a minute before which they flagged as usual activity. I have had this happen several times when I used the website of a company not based in the States (international purchase).
- Caller: Bank of America
- DJI am a B of A customer, and notified the bank I was traveling to Mexico so they would not shut my account access down if they saw unusual activity out of the country. I saw this number on missed call list the second day out. So whoever has the number is monitoring my activity, and tried to scam me. I've used my account since they called and it is fine.
