called at 8:07 am, will not answer this scam call

Midland Credit, trying to collect on a debt that was paid several years ago. Calls are ignored, and on my block list.

Whoever this is called at all hours, including 8:30 on a Sunday morning...absolutely ridiculous!

Get a new tin-foil hat & some new batteries for your remote. It appears that your television is stuck on Fox news.

They are a fraudulent company.
I don't owe anybody anything, which is clear on my Credit report.
They keep on calling, and I keep reporting them!
I suggest blocking them, from any number they call from!

They are the scum of scum of collectors. Trying for years to collect a $16,000 Chase credit card balance. Never had a chase card. Say it’s too old to sue you for and too old to report to a credit report. But pay us anyway!

This number called my spouse's number today. I looked it up & found it supposedly belongs to a debt collector, Midland Credit Management, located in Minnesota. They left no message. However, this is a SUNDAY, which is a day debt collectors are not allowed to call, so i figure it's a scam call anyway.

There is no Federal Law which states that debt collectors may not call on a Sunday. Only a state law would prohibit them from doing so. The Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act allows calls 7 days a week from 8am to 9pm at the location of the person receiving the call. Still that does not figure into whether this caller is a scam or otherwise in violation of debt collection laws.

they call and call and call. i have no debt. Today I was looking at a company in MN, so they call with a MN area code, right around the time I was online looking at the MN website.

How would they know that you were online let alone looking at a company in MN?

So - you think they were spying on you, is that it?

Another silent call ...about 90 percent of the calls I get no one says anything the line is silent for about 45 seconds and then you hear line disconnect

They call all the time, from different area codes.   I have no credit cards,  and no outstanding debt.  Looked at my credit score about a month or two ago on Karma, the calls started a week after that and have never stooped since.

Midland Credit - Debt Management Service and Debt collection company.  Left no message.

Left no message. Probably debt collectors. Probably Midland Financial.  They are a pain in the butt.!

I get several call, I do not ans. the phone whose number i do not know. I let it
ring. and then check these numbers on my computer. You guys are nice to let
every one know that they are bogus people.

They called today. Was an Indian guy. Did not answer the other day. Told me I had a credit card balance from 11 years ago from a company. First red flag was I never opened an card with them and never owed that amount. Secondly I asked for the the last 4 digits of the card, they were not mine. Another red flag they has a ssn of 5002, which is not mine either. I told them do not call again, my attorneys will be contacting you and may pursue legal actions. A scare tactic to say the least. He refused to transfer me to a supervisor. Complete scam.

Calls my cell phone at 5am every day. No message left.   Keep having to block the number.  Leave me alone.
