Illegally calling cell phone numbers on Do Not Call list -- shut 'em down!

Shady call, no vm, can't get a call thru to them either

Rang a couple of times and hung up......it was my cell phone........I didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer.

I hate to say it, but you thought wrong. People's personal information (especially their mobile phone number) is constantly being harvested, bought, sold, collected, and used for profit. These practices have become so profitable that an entirely new and distinct money-making industry is literally booming, enabling the expansion of these tactics, at the detriment to the public. You have to wonder how this booming industry has remained almost completely hidden from public scrutiny despite rapid growth. The worst part to me is that 99% of people have no idea that when they sign up for a "members rewards" card at a store like Walgreen's, or a gas discount card with a gas station chain, or make a purchase online, or even fill out those dumb surveys on Facebook, that the personal details they write/type into the sign-up form (e.g. name, phone number, email address, race, etc.) will then be sold to shady but large and very profitable businesses that make their money solely by buying people's information (in bulk) from one company and then selling it to the highest bidder (also in bulk). The final buyer could be a tech company like Apple, or a food company like Coca-Cola Co., who will use the information they obtained to create or enhance marketing strategies based on demographics and suchlike, the ultimate goal being an increase in profit margins. Another thing worth mentioning is that most mobile apps and games (even extremely popular and generally "trusted" ones) mine for data on your phone and then send it back to the developer, to then be sold, giving mobile app developers a little extra income. These information companies are hidden "middlemen" and thrive on their business practices remaining hidden. Tell people you know about what I've just told you so we can raise awareness.

they called my cell & I ignored it. I see this number has been calling people like crazy lately. A HOLES

The apps called several times. Today they left a message. The message claim that "you have a claim".

CID indicates "Unavailable".  I added area code 321 to my call blocker.  Case closed. :-)

I didn't answer. left no message.

Got a call. Nobody there when I answered it.

Got a call on my cell, just now, and accidentally disconnected while trying to answer. No ID... just "Florida"

Never call back on a number you don't recognize. There are scams that will cost $$.
If the caller is someone you know, they will leave a message.

Got call 8.30pm. No message left.

Called my phone but was blocked by my call blocker. If your not in my contact I dont get your call. These people can rot in hell!!!

"....accidentally disconnected while trying to answer. No ID...".........     Even better  - DON'T ATTEMPT TO ANSWER AN UNKNOWN / UNIDENTIFIED CALL.  That was your first mistake.  You are only confirming to the robo-dialer that they reached a working phone, with someone willing to answer.

This number called me at 6:15AM. I don't know anyone in Florida, didn't recognize the number, so I hit the RED button on my Galaxy 3.  I'm on the "Senior" plan, so I have limited minutes!  Do you HATE these people!

I just received a call from this number (321-250-3512) on my cell phone. No name on caller ID, just Kissimmee, FL.  I let it go to voicemail.  The message they left said:  "Press 2 to be removed from this list.  Thank you.  Your claim number is 524".
