You thought wrong. Best remove your number from the do not call list too. Only legit businesses pay attention to the list.  If you registered your cell with the dnc, then that's how the scammers got it.

Doesn't always work like that.  I've had the same numbers calling me for the last 5 years, over and over and over and over again. Not once have I answered. They let the phone ring 3 times and hang up.  Sometimes it's multiple times a day.  Unlike some other people though, I don't let it get to me. I just ignore them.

Seriously?  Like I told another person ...... this site isn't a message service for you to tell scammers and telemarketers not to call you!  It is for reporting those numbers so that other people may be informed as to what numbers are legit and which aren't.

Call was from Eric at usa travel and tours offering me a deal on an Orlando vacation.  They called my cellphone which is on the do not call list.

Now I got it, they called me early morning and hung up. call back, busy signal

Don't answer to this number ever!!! Found out that they are fishing for active phone numbers and creating a robolist to sell to other companies. I answered yesterday by mistake and the next day got inundated by scammers and other scum of the earth. Someday very soon they will be fined and they will be out of business. Don't help them at all

I am on the CO not call registry......I get a recorded message about 3 times a week......

Recorded message saying I won a vacation. Press 1 to speak to travel agent. Press 2 if not interested.

I hung up LIKE A BOSS.

I just received a call on my cell from this number, don't know who it is, I guess if it were important they would have left me a message!

On the DO NOT CALL List, and they called me at work.  DO not call!!!!  Telemarketer.
