Had "Frank" from windows call me... Told him he didn't sound like a Frank... Mean man hung up on me after I said he sounds more like an "Iqbal"

Caller ID: "IP COMMUNICATIONS" 321-5495887. I did not answer and no message. I have been getting A LOT of calls for 'computer problems'... I truly believe it is a scam

Caller identifies himself as a certified tech working on contract from Microsoft.  Sounds like a guy from India, he tells me my computer is sending info to Microsoft about driver issues.  Wanted me to type on the "RUN" program MSCONFIG.  I asked several questions, but rather than answer them he insisted I execute his command.  HUNG UP - didn't believe him!

Received two calls on two of my phones and identified himself as being from Microsoft technical department. Spoke with a very heavy accent. I asked him to speak english or let me speak with somebody who could speak english and he called me two obscene names and

A guy that sounded like from India name "Robin" tried to tell me my computer has a microsoft problem. I have yearly agreement with the Geek Squad and they told me never give him access to your computer it is a scam! Told him never to call me and the following week he calls back and talk to my husband. He definitely not worth listening to cause he is a scammer. Ugh!

Definitely a scam. Folks with heavy east Indian accent. Tried to get me to go to startcontrol.com and when I said I was getting a 401 error, tried to get me to Teamviewer! Watch out.

CID said: "IP  Communicatio". Yes that's how it was spelled. I figured it had to be the "your computer is broke" scam. The cid gave it away.  We've had them call here in the past. I haven't answered an unknown call in years and have seen it all.

I listened to his spiel for a bit and then asked him if there are still people who actually believe this.  He hung up on me.  I'm so hurt.

Man with heavy Indian/Middle Eastern accent has called my wife for the last two days now. First call he claimed to be with "Windows" and asked to get remote access to our computer to fix a virus issue. My wife knew it was a scam right away and he got pretty irritated with her and hung up. Today he called several times and sexually harassed her for not going along with his scam. This scum bag needs to be taken care of!

Call from computer department from India.  After screwing with the guy for a long while, we got to talking and talking about how his company is a scamming company and all.  Poor guys don't get paid a lot for doing that all day long but it's a job at least.

Guy called about my computer with an accent. We get these scam calls all the time. Told him thanks but no and hung up.

Undoubtedly a spoofed #.  Three rings, no message, hangup, therefore Spam.  Called 11.02 a.m., 11/15/17. Next time they call ask them for your IP address.

Heavy "India" Indian accented people calling from  this number. Everytime it's someone different both male and female have been my experience. Over the last 2 days I've received a total of 6 calls claiming to be a service tech from Microsoft calling to be of some assistance with the error message I've been getting. I've shut them down of course knowing from the time I heard the accent it's a scam, but not before being directed to let them into my computer remotely. I told them "That's strange you're getting an error message from my computer because I DON'T own a computer." It's funny to hear them stumbling as to how to respond to that scenario. Of course I own a Dell, doesn't everyone? LOL! Idiots. So now they're ticked and calling my house constantly. I filed a formal complaint with the FTC, for all the good it'll do because the number is bogus.

I just had an India sounding person as well from the same number.  Told me to get on the computer and was trying to act like it was someone I knew.  I refused and he called me a MotherF$%$cker.  Some kind of scam

Called my husband and asked him to execute commands on the computer, when my husband refused to do this, this guy then gave our full home address, and told my husband he better sit in front of the computer and do what he is saying because he knows where we live. My husband hung up.

Got a call from the same number and was told they were getting info from my computer  I told him I do not have a computer and he told me, Oh yes you do.  Again I said I did not and he said I am telling you that you do.  I said Are you calling me a liar and he said Yes, to which I replied and said I was reporting him to the police.  I then hung up..  All this and we are on the Do Not Call List.  A lot of good that does.  Calling from number 321-549-5887

In Microsoft technical department most people speak with a very heavy accent.

The DNC does a lot of good, you just do not realize it. How many calls are you getting per month from local real estate, travel, or insurance agents? How about dental, eye or hearing aid clinics and financial planners? Based on how much junk mail I get from places like that, my phone would be ringing continually if not for the DNC and so would yours. I am not sure why you expect a law to prevent criminal behaviour since no law ever passed has been able to do so. In addition, enforcement against criminals calling from foreign countries is difficult at best. For under $100 you can invest in a call blocker for your home phone that will prevent future calls from this and similar callers.
