Got the typical "computer error" call from the ever so typical East Indian scam artist trying to get access to my computer to load malware, etc.  Told him I was just sitting down to dinner to have a huge, thick beef steak from a cow that I recently imported from India as a "pet" and that I'd have to call him back as soon as my housekeeper that I hired from India finished with the dishes.

Called 3 times in the past 2 hours and it's a Friday evening. I did not answer because I do not answer unknown numbers on principle. I guess that's a good thing, especially after reading these entries here.

He said he was from Sri Lanka.  Had called here about a year ago about a Microsoft tech problem. obviously phoney.  This time turned into a perv call.  I laughed at him and told him to forget it.  He called the next night, my husband got on the phone and yelled at him not to call again.  Real pig.

Received call ID indicated private caller.  Answered and no one responded hung up.  When the caller asks for a given name I tell them sorry they are a bit late that person died a few days ago.  That usually gets them to stop calling.

Went thru similar experience with Asian-Indian sounding guy who called at same time I was on my PC. I Refused his pitch n he proceeded to get in my PC. I shut it down n later when i tried to open/start PC found that jerk had crashed it. Now can’t start. Geek Sq coming to clean out n restart

Scammers using international phone lines to contact U.S. victims by pretending they are computer "Fixers".

He did the same thing to me, but got VERY graphic and threatened me. Told me he was outside my house! Called the police to document it. This person needs to be taken down, NOW!

Same as everyone. It’s a scam. They do not like when I ask how they sleep at night knowing that they are a scammer and how proud their parents must be. This Indian guy actually had the balls to call me at 7am. What a dB. The person is so damn stupid.

keep calling !scammers! pathetic.Blocked call for what it was worth, probably  nothing, Just like using Do Not Call List, they do nothing but collect data.

These guys have called 4 or 5 times yesterday and twice this am... using more
than one phone number ... similar sound track - something to do with Microsoft

Called. Blocked. Reported. No surprise. Carry on.
