Got this call today. Two days ago it was an Ahpoo accented fellow who wanted me to go to my computer.
. Hung up on him.and he called right back. Had my name and a dress but I went off on him and hung up

Caller ID says, Fabian Aguilar.  Really 800 Notes illegal collection.

I've received a few calls from this number, and got one just now.  I also just filed a complaint w the FCC.  It was easy.  And I'll do it each and every time they call, should they continue.

Keep receiving calls from the following numbers even after request to have my number removed and to stop calling. 1-323-265-9875, 1-305-368-8373, 337-445-0171, 1-225-366-0237. 2 adv Microsoft, 1 survey company, 1 said public awareness but most of the times they called (which were many!) they hung up or was a computer

I hate that I have to pay tons of money a month for a house phone and cells to make sure my kids can call if they need me for something or they need help. Then some company or person decides its completely okay to call and harass me or wake up my family when they feel like it on my hard earned money.

For those with calling for government or political calls they are really stupid because no matter what they just lost my vote. They only call I would be happy to receive is if it was to pass the following law below!!!!!!!!!

So I have no pity. If asked to removed the number you pay for or your 10yr old kids emer cell that they are scaring by continuing to call even after being polite explaining it is a childs phone to please remove it and request they stop. They should get what they deserve for failing to be decent and removing it. I also think the company and the phone carrier that you pay for your number should be held accountable. All parties should be arrested or fined in addition they should also have to refund a full months bill for each month you receive one of these calls if you are on the do not call list. The telemarketing company should have to provide their numbers to the do not call agency and notify the phone company of the lines use. All parties should have to equally pay your monthly bill for the violation. That would really stop the problem. I' m sure there are plenty people who don't mind sales calls. Hire a person to check the call list to verify if they are on the DoNotCall List.

Said they were from Microsoft and I had issues with my PC.

Guess it was my turn to get a call from this number (Los Angeles). Did not answer and they did not leave a message. Had I known it was a Microsoft scam, I would have played along since I am a computer and network specialist. Number has now been blocked.

They keep calling saying they're with Microsoft.

Those Indian and Chinese telemarketers are NOT calling from the US.  They don't live in the US.  So, that wouldn't work.

If you don't recognize the area code or the number on your caller ID, don't pick it up! If you do pick it up, and you are told to press a number, don't press the number. Hang it up! Sociological aside: Some posters have described these people as faking as coming from Microsoft, and that they apparently come from India and China. India is the "homeland of fakirs". Be careful, folks!

sick of these calls I've gotten two calls within 2 days from the same number I have called the fcc explain that I'm getting these unwanted calls.  I have bblockedy mumber numerous times
Only to have these same calls start up again.
If you call the number back you get a discomnect message.

They change numbers a lot.  All you can do is block them.
