They called again - but this time they called from 323 609-6016!
We have ALL 323 609 numbers blocked!

The DNC list is just a tool the government has created to placate all of the people who can't just move on with their lives after a telemarketing call or twelve. Those people need a way to release some anger and feel like they are wrapped in a warm blanket of protection from those who might want to sell them solar panels or a timeshare. Of course the DNC list is useless, it does its job by merely existing.

I received the same v-messages about 'saving on electric bill' about 1x per month. Once I submitted my phone numbers on the DNC list in 2015, I  started receiving all sorts of scamming calls.

customer service id.....recording re oppty to reduce electric bill....

Called three time this morning. I didn't answer they didn't leave message

Since I put my number on that list - the calls skyrocketed.  Now it is 6 a day - used to be one a week - maybe.

6/14/16 14:30 PDT  Apparently tried to call and I didn't hear phone ringing.  This is at least the third call today where I happened to be in another room and missed a call.  Since this number is already blocked, it probably only rang once, but I should have heard it.  It looks like Frontier Commun. may have screwed up again.

I do not believe cell phones are covered under the DNC List

Called my cell phone.  Did not leave a message.  Number is now blocked.  This is likely another spam/scam call.

Yes, cell phone are covered under the DNC List.  That does not keep these scumbags from calling.  They don't care that your number is on the DNC List.
