My FB was hacked last week. They got my cell number. I get 4-5 calls a day now. Never received bogus calls prior, only on land line. The phone companies sell phone numbers to foreign countries with local area codes to try to trick us into answering. I won't answer a call if I don't recognize the number. I'll look up the number and if seems legit, maybe I'll call back.

They got my cell number."  So it is completely your fault they got your number, not because "The phone companies sell phone numbers to foreign countries with local area codes to try to trick us into answering."  No doubt, a weak password and why would you have that sort of inforamtion on Facebook to begin with?

I don't give my phone numbers to sites like FB. There are other ways they can verify I am who I say I am.

A lot of sites are starting to use text messages to verify when something doesn't look right. No thank you.

I'm on Do not call list. I don't answer the phone when I do t recognize numbers and don't call them back. Yet some one continues to put my # out there for all the spamers to use. I get about 2 calls a week like this from different #s. I block each #, but it doesn't stop the next scammer from call. It's again't the law but no one is stopping it.  WHY?

Called Wednesday, 6/22/16 at 9:43 am.  Caller ID showed "Customer Service". No message left when answering machine came.

You used to get one call a week - maybe, and you still added your number to the list? Why? Something doesn't add up.

My phone rang couple times during the day from this #.  I don't recognize the #, so I did not answer and deleted call after.

Caller did not leave a message.

I hate these kind of calls never leave a message nothing more than these scammer trying to steal your hard earn money. Hey clown stop calling me

2:09 pm June 14. Hope my blocking service got it,  after 8 pages of complaints.

Didn't leave a message.

Robocall.  CID: "THE CLEANPLANET".  Answering device picked up. Started a recorded spiel about the "Recovery Act" before I dumped the call.

Spammer.
