Received 6 calls from this number today. Same as everyone else...no one there and when I call back, can't be completed as dialed. Where is everyone? I am in Portland area...is everyone regional or is this a national caller?

they called me 3 x this am but I was in the shower ...no message etc ect . looks like trouble . this is an unwanted call I will not answer from now on ..

Call Verizon and tell them to put a block on this number and shut these people down.

Folks, several posters below report they tried calling the number back and got an error message. 360-210 is a valid Comcast exchange in Camas WA but the last 4 digits 3456 isn't in service and why you will get an error message if you call. The caller is spoofing his phone number to your CallerID to prevent you from calling him https://secure.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/wiki/Caller_ID_spoofing and he can be calling from anywhere on the planet. The caller should be treated as hostile -- do not give or confirm any info the caller has on you. In fact, you should DENY all info the caller asks you to confirm. If the caller asks "Are you John Smith?", you should answer "No, no such person lives here."
Several posters report the caller offers a free $100 gift card of sorts. The usual scam is they will ask you for your credit card info to charge a shipping fee and you will be signed up for negative-option offers behind your back. Soon, mysterious charges will show up on your credit card statements every month and you will have a very difficult time to cancel out of these charges. Do not give out any info, personal or financial, to strangers who call you from out of the blue.

No its national Im in Ct & receive this call several times a day, as everyone who has responded to this has already done Ive called it back only for it to say this number cant be completed at this time or it has been disconnected...WTH is going on!! Its annoying as all @#$%!!! I generally dont answer calls from blocked or unknown calls even thought the number shows in my cell caller id I still wont answer...they dont leave messages either, so figuring well if I just dont answer they will stop calling well suffice to say it doesnt work!!! Ive had other numbers calling about the free Walmart cards and they say for a small one time processing fee of $4.95 they card will come to me yes they know your info too, but they were Americans doing these calls, still I dont trust it...however they havent called in months so why is this person or place constantly calling people all hours of the day and night?!?!? So if anyone out there knows how to end it please speak up and help us out!!! Thank u!!!

Bothered me several times

Also getting many calls from this number - started yesterday, got 5 calls which I attempted to answer but noone there, then the hang-up. Not sure if the 2 are related but at the same time started getting calls from 888-777-5544 . . . exact same thing. Today only 1 call from each number so far. Is there a way to block the number so the call doesn't come through??? VERY ANNOYING!

pissed off, calls all hours, no message, call back and its busy...TIRED of it...

Same call from this number and two other numbers, all with the same accent.  When I asked for the  name of the company they are calling from they just offer to remove me from their call list.  I knew it was a scam but wanted a reaction.  I even asked to speak to a supervisor and guess what, they were currently assisting other calls.  What is interesting is the last four digits of the credit card they say they are calling in regards to wasn't even mine.  It was my husbands that was cancelled when the bank noticed someone trying to make fraudulant charges on, the calls started about three months after that.
I wished something could be done, I blocked the number on my phone but I'm sure in a few weeks they will call again with a new number.

This caller called me 4 times in a row today.  When I tried to call back, it said the number was disconnected.  They they called me back 2 times in a row, but I didn't answer.  Now, I find the number is called others as well.  Disturbing

In response to where we are located and getting these call, I'm in Northern CA

They keep calling.  Its a total scam - "we have a $100 gift card" blah blah blah.  We keep telling them to stop calling us but clearly that hasn't worked.  They have called six times today (Oct 25) and four times on Oct 14.  They call through out the entire day and close to ten at night.  UGH!  Which I could block the [***]!

call from india.. I am sure it is a scam... they gave me a number to call back but pretty sure it doesnt work 21578785263 for one its too many numbers.

I have been receiving calls for 6 months.  They call usually 2-3 times a day.  I asked to be removed from the call list because I am on the National Call Registery, or ask to speak to a supervisor, I get hung up on.
What can be done despite hanging up on them or not answering the call.  I have reported this before, something has to be done.  Why should we not be able to protect our selves against scams like this.

I've had the same experience as pretty much everyone else on here. They called me twice in the morning (while I was in class) and once again around 5:30 pm. Very suspicious, hard to identify accent. Knew my name, last 4 digits of my card, and my address. I was in a bad mood to begin with, so I was kind of short with this guy (figuring it was a scam anyways). He wanted to transfer me to his 'supervisor' so they could verify he did his job correctly, but the supervisor was busy talking to other customers. So this weird guy keeps trying to make small talk with me, asking if I'm married, telling me my family can use this gift card, asking about the weather. He was getting more nervous the longer he waited for his supervisor and the more short I was being with him. It was about a 10 minute call total. I eventually got pretty rude with him and basically said I didn't have time to sit and wait for his supervisor. The guy told me they would call back at a more convenient time and kept trying to talk to me, so I just hung up on him. They haven't called back today, but we'll see about tomorrow. In the meantime, I've called my bank to make sure they're aware of this situation, and they're ready to freeze any suspicious activity on my account.

I agree with what others have said: DO NOT CONFIRM ANY INFO WITH THESE PEOPLE. DENY EVERYTHING. I wish I had, now I'm nervous for my identity and my funds.

keep getting these annoying calls .  id like to know how to block them

This number just started making harassing phone calls to me. It has already called me 6 times today and I am not even halfway through the day. I have read what everyone posted and decided to answer one of the calls. The guy was from India and I told him I know the call is a scam and to stop calling me. The calls have continued. I called my bank just to let them know about possible fraudulent activity and what do you know?....they had the audacity to call me while I was on the phone with my bank! Unbelievable! I am calling my phone company next. I am with AT&T and the phone they are calling is a cell phone. On my caller ID the # is coming up WA. I live in southern NY but just relocated from eastern PA not that long ago. Not sure what tricks I will pull out of my sleeve next if this does not work but I am certainly not going to be woken up every morning by these inconsiderate money hungry fools!

Just spoke with someone from Comcast out of Washington/Oregon LLC which is where the # is showing origination and was told that there is no way to trace this number because it is not real. The scammer is using  360-210 which is associated with Comcast of Washington/Oregon LLC but then makes up the last 4 digits. They are probably doing it from a computer. The best thing that can be done is to tell the scammer that you need their # and will return the call later, and if it is a legit # then you can report it to the company that the # is originated from. The only other option is to have your phone company block it which from what I am hearing does not seem to be working too well for people. I'm guessing this is because the blocking system is not recognizing this as a real # either.
