The Do Not Call List has become a joke!  It does not work!  How does Carmen and Credit Card Company make any money if they hang  up on you when you ask them a question?  Seems like a waste of their time and mine!

I have got calls from this company for over 1 year and they won't stop! It is getting to be harrasment

Just wasted 10 minutes on a "Bridget" call.  I had all the required "fake" information written down ahead of time so it seemed real.  I tried to answer all questions with Yes or No.  I did not show any hostility at all.  On the third try of verifying my credit card number, she said that we'd have to verify my balance through Chase and she hung up on me.  Best feeling I've ever had dealing with these people.  I've tried pressing 3, I've tried cussing them out, I've bought a telemarketer box, etc. etc.  The most rewarding way to handle them is string them out and see what happens.  The sad part is law enforcement could handle these [***] in one call.  You string them along, trace the call, give them a real credit card number, have them illegally charge something, then arrest them.  So simple.  Handle every single call the same way and you'll eliminate the problem.  Sadly, this won't happen because we have enough issues with enforcing our current laws.

Hangs up in my face when asked to identify. Make daily calls to a no call number.

I'm so tired of receiving, blocking and reporting calls from carmen and bridget from cardholder services.  Is there some way this can be stopped?

Don't answer in any way and shut down any answering device. Be patient, eventually, the callers will grow weary of dialing numbers that have no answer.

Yea, They call me every day.  Don't answer but take comfort that THEY  ( the idiots who stand by and wait  in case some one actually presses #1) are the ones getting scammed by the people who convince them its profitable to do this.  Unfortunately..there is someone that is just as stupid to bite on the offer so it will probably go on.   and on...and on

The DNC list is not a joke - it was never designed to  stop criminals from calling you.
Please educate yourself as to what the DNC does and what it does NOT do.

Just curious - why do you continue to answer these calls?

I blow a whistle as loud as I can.  Only one asked me why I did that.  Did he really need to ask?   So fed up that nothing can be done.

I've been getting these calls for at least two years, allwith the identical robo-message. First they were from Rachel, then Bridget, and now "Carmen."The calls come from different #,but it's always been one pf the abovre, "from cardholder services with important information," just about every day at this point. They hang up as soon as I ask for the name or phone # for this "company." As many others here have said, pressing 1 & asking to be removed from their list never helps. Since THEY are calling ME, I 've taken to playing their game for a while, letting them think I'm an easy mark, and then asking the most inappropriate, degrading, and offensive questions I can think of.

It goes without saying that I never give them info that's even close to being accurate.

When I receive these calls I press the number 3 to end all contact like they said, but the calls will not stop. I tried staying on the line to talk to the next available operator, when I tell them that I would just like the calls to stop they just hang up on me before I am finished.

Play dumb, lead them to think you're seriously interested, give fake but encouraging answers to all their questions, starting with your name, waste as much of the caller's time as you want,  put them on "hold" while you "look for your wallet," then come back to the phone, and tell them something like, "I love getting these calls because I know it's a scam, and I love playing games with you and wasting your time." Then hang up right away before they can get the satisfaction of cursing you out.

I get these calls almost daily from someone named Bridget,I have waited until some came on the line and asked them to remove my name but they have not done it,These calls are very annoying.
