The FTC is looking for a way to stop these guys. How about a bomb? If they call and you told them there is a bomb in their office and they report you for a bomb threat, then homeland security would be easily able to pin down the illegal telemarketer's location which is something that the FTC and other Law enforcement communities haven't been able to do in over 8 years since the DNC started and as pointed out on C-Span hearings in numerous joint legislative panels. What's to loose? The SOBs haven't stopped the calls and despite LE sweeps targeting the perps, they still persist. These are domestic terrorist that constantly destroy everyone's lives and don't care about it. The people working in the place as reps know that they offend hundreds per day and millions of people each year and pay no mind to the fact that they destroy countless people's lives daily through incessant interruptions. If the FTC or ICC offered a reward for current or telemarketers to turn in the locations and supervisors/owners of these places there may be a reprieve. Otherwise, I say do whatever it takes to blow these [***] off the face of the earth. They are pond scum.

Enforcement of the Do No Call Registry was started in October 2003. Not 2008.

More importantly, falsely reporting a bomb is a serious crime.

Please be a responsible human. Make complaints to the proper authorities, and get a call blocker.

So even after 13 years and millions of law abiding Americans affected, you're gonna side with the perps and go all "Barney Fife" on the fact of protecting perps that LE hasn't done squat to effectively stop, even though they are criminals and numerous repeat offenders. But stopping them isn't serious enough to demand any means necessary even though it could save thousands a day and millions of people a year fromall their aggravation by fraudulent criminals. Keep in mind that if the person tells the tele-fraud they've a potential threat, the perp harassing the average law abiding citizen can either ignore it, evacuate, or rethink their life  and current activities.                                                "Please be a responsible human" WHAT???   Are you kidding me? Millions of people get impacted each day by these people, yet you have the audacity to chastise any attempt to thwart these people that harass countless parties daily? Countless families that have a parent of person in a hospital awaiting word on events unfolding and these SOBs call. These people call when some people just want to have a few quiet moments but need to answer a phone because of a loved one in a hospital they are awaiting word on. A legitimate telemarketer with a real offer is one thing. But a party and persons willingly helping perpetuate all the "Robo-Rachel" calls deserves ANYTHING done to them, by ANY measure, to get it stopped!!!

The Do Not Call Registry is about as big a scam as Caordholders.  I have been adding numbers to it for 8 years and the calls still come in. The DNC registry is set up to make you believe that the gov't is trying help you, like I said trying to make believe the gov't is attempting to help you, I guess you know how great that works.

I get repeated robocalls from Bridget from Cardholder Services

Been getting these calls daily and of course when i stay on line and ask for them not to call or ask for a manager they call me all kind of names.... The accent sounds like from India and pathetic
Plan on changing my number and making it private which will only help for awhile i am sure

My question is WHY?  Why would they call sometimes 5 times a day from different numbers, sometimes my own number appears in the caller id.  As much as we may believe they are doing this just to annoy us to no end, that can't be profitable for them.  Why when we have all expressed in no uncertain terms that we are not in debt, do not require their services and ask them to not call back again do they continue to call back.  What is their profit motive?  How do they get paid?  Certainly, if they find the rare case of someone with a stressful amount of debt, they may be able to scam that individual and make a few bucks.  Does anyone know of anyone who has actually been through the whole process and knows what they are selling and how they make their money.
I'm guessing they are being paid by the number of times we pick up the phone.  Even if they don't sell you anything someone is paying them to make the call and the connection.  I can't imagine why but I can't think of any other reason.

Call blockers won't work with these calls.  If you block the number they just use a different number.  Sometimes times my own number shows up on the caller id.  Other times they increase my number by a few digits. They are somehow able to spoof the caller id with any number they want, just not their own.

Ask for Dexter every time they call.

They call every day.  One time the guy says his name is Dexter.  I keep him on the line until the credit card number comes up invalid - duh!  Then he starts calling me names so I start taking dirty back to him.  After calling me a few more names, he hangs up to move on to his next mark.

Next day Bridget from card holder services calls again.  I ask for Dexter.  they put me through to him!  I continue the nasty conversation he started with me the last time.  He calls me a few names and hangs up.

Next day Bridget calls again. I ask for Dexter.  He's not in this time.  I ask to leave a message.  "Sure" says today's scammer.  I say, tell Dexter I am coming to get him.  She calls me a name and hangs up.

Ask for Dexter every time they call.

I've gotten to know "Carmen" quite well and we often discuss how her parents weren't married. Does anyone know where this company is? They have a number; somebody gave to to them and they must pay for it on some basis.

I am now receiving two robocalls per day with the recorded message,  "This is a very important message about your current credit card accounts. This is your second and final notice to lower your credit card interest rate and payments. Press 1 now to find out the terms conditions and associated changes before the next billing cycle. Again, this is your final notice as it relates to the financial stimulus. So press 1 now to take advantage of this today."  I have answered twice. The first time, when asked, I said I didn't owe credit card debt over $2000.  They hung up.  The second time I answered I kept repeating "Take my name off your call list.  This is harassment."  They hung up, of course.  I do not have caller ID, but I understand this scam uses phony numbers.  Months ago I was given a choice of pressing 2 to be removed from their call list.  It did no good.  Now that choice is not given.  Since I can't report the number these calls come from, I have no recourse.  I've thought of blowing a whistle when the representative answers, but I doubt if that would be effective since the FTC can't stop illegal robocalls.

I too get daily calls and yes asked them not to call and yes they still do. I wait for "my turn" and then scream as loud as I can. Did that for two weeks. Now they call but when it is my turn, I get cut off. They can cut me off but I can  not cut them off

I get calls from Carmen or Rachel at Cardholder Services (Robo call) almost every day for the past two years.  I have been on the National No Call list for several years and made many (more than 10) complaints about them.  I tried to get Century link to block the calls but they only want to sell me something that wouldn't work.

Century link has no interest in doing a service for their customers as a public utility should.

We get calls every day from Bridget at Cardholder services wanting us to transfer credit card dept to another card and we hold no credit cards and don't plan to get any.  We just want the calls to stop.  -Jim and Beth Boyle

I have come to the conclusion that there is no way to effectively stop these pricks.6 or more calls a week, at least. I have filed complaints with the FTC and FCC to no avail. Whatever you do, my advice is NOT to talk with one of their representatives. That just validates that you are a real person and that prompts them to keep calling, according to the FTC person I spoke with. And if that is not bad enough, how about the calls from people trying to sell solar panels!!!! Those calls, I think, are from India based on the accents.

I have been getting daily calls from "Bridget" for over a year. I have put a block on 25 different numbers so far from "Bridget" alone, which is the maximum number of phone numbers I am allowed to block on Xfinity. I have well over 50 different numbers that they "call from" based on caller id (although anyone can spoof any number). I honestly don't understand why they feel the need to waste THEIR resources on people that obviously don't want their services.
