Got a call from this number an hour ago. I did not pick up the phone ,but called back and got the message that the number was no longer in service. I seem to agree with the above comment that they could be a gang of thieves who want to know if you are home.

You could get one of those air horns... Those are pretty loud!

Got call from this number today. Did not pick, it went to voicemail. Long but silent voicemail. Blocked!

A guy called last night and said something in a different language. I responded with a "huh?" then he asked me if I was Muslim. When I said no, he just hanged up. This number has been blocked from my phone now.

interesting ! they clled me too he had an accent similar to indian/pakistani and he told me that they are teaching quran online

that is what they guessed from my last name thats why he told me that they are teaching quran online

they called me and asked if I am interesting learning quran . I said NO , I already know Quran

he said salamun alekum which means hello !

I got a call from this number at my work number.couple of days before that I used that phone to make a long distance call to Iran using a phone card.
the caller knew that someone here has ties to Iran. he started by "assalam ualaikom" and was shocked when I answered in English. then asked if I can speak English and i said that's what I'm doing. he was promoting some Muslim things and training. I said I'm not interested in this and hung up.
I'm sure they got my number through the phone company.
lesson: If you use a long distance phone card to make an overseas call always block your number.
