Consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so. If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

    https://www.straighttalkwirelessforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=6803&t=55006

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.

    Angry American!!!
Got a call from this number, let answering machine pick up.  Nothing but dead air silence.  Looked up the 394 area code found out it is not a valid US/Canada area code. If you get a call from a number with the 394 area code I suggest you block it.

We keep seeing call displays from his number and now the phone does not work. We cannot receive calls and it sounds as if the line is perpetually open. Anyone else have this experience?

I have been getting a call from this number twice a week for almost a year.  It all started after I got a new car with satellite radio.  When I did not want the service after the promo, the calls started and never stopped.  They only call my land line and never my cell.  I never gave the satellite radio service or the dealer my cell.  I think our information was sold by the satellite company.

If Comcast, they will never stop.   I am curious, if this has been going on for months, you must kind of enjoy it, otherwise you would have blocked the calls by now.  What happened?  What changed between you and Comcast?

394-953-9495 has been calling my number repeatedly so next time they'll get a soothing music treatment...:)
I answer the phone then put it next to my speakers which play soothing music while I work. So someone will also get to listen to this music for as long as they want...

1-394-953-9495 Just called me and said he was looking for Muslims who want to be educated in the Karan.  Asked if I was Muslim- wanted to speak with any Musilims who might be interested in gathering with other Muslims.  Even after I expressed I was a business he continued to ask if I wanted to become a Muslim.

Sarah that is very smart because I know someone is there so I can get a whistle and noise maker and find out who is calling.  Thanks!

Blowing a whistle will help you find out who is calling? Really? Where can I get a magic whistle like that?

You realize you'll be hurting your own ears when you blow that whistle, right?

For Cell phones, download Call Blacklist, it's free and you can add numbers from your call logs. It will block SMS (Text messages) too. I got calls from this number on my Landline and on my Caller ID it says "UNKNOWN" so I used *77 to reject anonymous, unknown, private callers. Hey if you don't want to let me know who you are then I don't want to let you know who I am either. I also have a Vtech phone model CS6919 (it's like their cheapest one, sells for about $18 at Walmart) and it has call blocking on it and you can add phone numbers from the caller ID on the phone or dial them in there. It seems to be the only model they make with the call blocking feature on it. I don't know how many numbers it stores but hey for $18 it's the cheapest call blocker phone I know of.

    Hope some of that helps.
