I want to report this number ...i recived a call nobody answered ...after that call my cellphon doesnt have signal and now i have to repar it because Telus company sais that its the antena ...i have only 1 month whit my cell ups!!!

i always receive these calls at night and they speak in spanish saying that is i won a prize and if i want to claim it i need to press 1 but i always hang up and try to recall and it sais the number is not in service

i got a voice msg from (401)889-9876 while on my trip on Cuba. There was nothing said, but after erased the voice msg from my phone, I still have an alert that I have 3 new voice msgs (one of them was from my boss, the other from this stupid number bothering everyone, the 3d from (502)510-9898 don't know who it was either)

I answered the call and it was in spanish.  I hung up... Its from Rode Island I guess.

I also just got the call. I googled the area code, and 401 is Rhode Island. Since I didn't know anyone from RI, I didn't bother to call back. Looks like it's some kind of scam. I have no idea how they got my number though, because I hardly ever give out my number.

I CALLED BACK, GOT A RECORDING ERROR SAYING THE NUMBER IS DISCONNECTED

I just got a call from this number. Answered and it was a spanish recording.

I g ot it 01/05/08 at 4:11PM EST on my sprint phone.
I didnt answer. They left no voicemail. Phone showed it was a RI number.
I'm in SW GA.

Yea, dont answer this number. Is a scam, specially when you call back. From whatever country they are calling from, they WILL charge long distance to your phone and you wont know. Then when your bill comes from your phone carrier, you cant argue it because you called the number back and those [***] get what they wanted, TO SCAM YOU & ROB YOU!!!

DONT ANSWER, TRUST ME! I am fluent in spanish!!! Dont call it back!

Received a call today from this number at around 4:45 PM.  Tried returning it, and got the "number is disconnected" message.  Also tried to do a reverse search, and all I can find out is that number originates from Warwick, R.I.

My cell recorded this as a "missed call." I tried returning the call, but got a "number is disconnected or no longer in service" message.

On December 28, 2007 at 8:04pm I got a call from 401-889-9876 but nobody answered.401 is Rhode Island code phone area, in USA.

January 7, 2008 at 11:28am on a Verizon Wireless phone in Maryland, USA. Not just people from Quebec are getting the call, or on Telus or Fido.

Same story as above.  Jan 7, cell phone rang, Spanish, I hung up immediately

Recieved a call from the 401-889-9876 number at 12:30pm 1/7/08 didn't pick up. I use AT&T and I'm in VA. USA

Apparently not - received call on my Blackberry today - answered - got seemingly-recorded message in Spanish and then it disconnected.

Jan 7, 2007 I have gotten a call today at 9:50 AM, she didn't speak English,and when call it back "No longer in Services" this the second time the first time was 866-300-1566.

1/7/2008 - I got a call from the number and was left a voice message.  All blank.  I got the call on a VOIP number from Voicestick.
