CID showed "PATROLMENS", no message left. Now blocked.

9:50 am 9-12-16.  Wish I knew for sure if my blocking service got it or not.
I will never understand why anyone would donate to a charity that cold cals people.

JUst got a call from these low-life feces-headed skunks using a robocaller. Blocked forever. Good luck using that robocaller bunky.

This was an automated call trying to get the callee to agree to send in a donation.  I answered two questions in the negative and it said bye and hung up.  I never would consider donating to anyone unless I know the Charity is reputable and know the pass-through is guarranteed to by >80-90%.  Like a previous caller commented, this is a scam and they probably have 0% pass-through guarrantee (if their "expenses" are greater than the donations).

Received a call from this # @ 12:21 p.m. today. Clicked it off before AM could pick up!

My phone recognized this number as a scam and automatically blocked the number.

The message on my ID claimed it was the National Patrolmen's Foundation, so I called the number and the automated voice informed me to press 1 to be removed from the calling list. Could be that simple. I doubt it, but it could be.

Called a few times throughout the day but left no message.
Based upon their forensic footprint, most likely a scammer.

Caller ID displayed just "Patrolmens" and no message left.  Will block this number if it happens again.

Have also been phoned but did not answer.  Thanks to all for your inputs.  It's clear it's not a call which should be answered.

As soon as I answer, call dropped. Call back, get an automated voice saying someone will call back or press 1 to be removed from list, which I did.

By calling them back you just verified for them that yours is a "good' number and now you will receive more worthless calls. Do not answer call you don't know and never call them back.

This scam method is the MO of the INFAMOUS ***REYNOLDS*** Family group of Professional Scammers.  Google their name and you will find HUNDREDS of sites/stories on them.  They were supposedly 'shut down' by the FTC in 2015, "Fined Millions" and ordered not to do this anymore.  BUT they were allowed to pay ONLY $75,000 *In Lieu Of* the ACTUAL fine, so of course, they are at it again. - I mean, why not?  If you can make TENS of MILLIONS and only pay a 1% fine on those spoils, wny not ignore the law and go at it again?  This is an example of how the Amoral, CRIMINAL Filthy Rich One-Percenters in this Country are driving it to Hell.

Called at 3:13 while we were at work.  No msg.  NO NAME on Caller ID, just "Out of Area."  One of TWO 'new number' calls, not yet blocked, but will block now.  Glad to know what scam this is; always helpful.

My caller ID said PATROLMENS. Did not answer. Scamers were too stupid to know that men is plural

This number called my DNC-listed landline today at 1308 hours.  I took one look at the caller ID and ignored it.  It gave up after four rings, which is usually indicative of an auto-dialer.  Just another scam artist.
