Asked them to stop and they have not got 3 today!

I answered the phone from this number the first time..I Told the lady politely it was a bad time..She persisted to go on with the conversation. I asked her to take my nuymberr off the list. She replied it was not a list and she will be calling me back! I did not want to hang up in her face so i told her again this was a bad time ,she continued to tell me she will call back i said ok an hung up. She called back several of times even on a SUNDAY at 8:00 at night.... What happened to the please take me off the call list and dont call this number again????

This number has been calling me for months and months. To say there is "no list" is a joke. I timed them one day: first call: 11:15, 2nd call: 12:16, 3rd call: 1:17. This pattern continues every time they call, so it is obviously automated. Out of frustration I answered the other day and told them not to call again, yet they persist. I will never give out health info to strangers over the phone. I advise everyone else to do the same!

After at least 3 calls over three hours I finally answered and said we were not interested in the survey and she said she needed to hear it from the second oldest male. I replied stating that maybe I should call the Attorney General in our state and find out how legit the were. She politely apologized and said good-bye. Hopefully that is the last we will hear from them. If I hear from them again, I will re-post.

Multiple calls per day with 0 messages.

Very simple to beat then at their own game.  I just forward my number to the UNMC.  Magically the calls stopped

402 471 1671 calls sevral times per day - no one is there on the line we receive these calls many times a day at all types of hours. Anyone know how to get them to stop calling? Usually i say take me off your list but on one is there...

what/whom did you call at UNMC to stop these calls? I will also do the same if you let me know the number....

Caller ID is only provided from phone company records if the calling number does not provide CID information. Virtually all company phone switches are capable of spoofing CID. Spoofers are also available for home lines.

getting calls from this number.. supposedly from the dept of health?   don't know who they are calling, asking my name instead.  If they don't know who they are calling, I won't talk to them.  

They call me every day. Usually it is when I am trying to put my almost two year old to bed.

I've been getting these calls on my cell phone as well.  I never answer calls from anyone that is not in my contact list...this number is not.  I have a rule about surveys, if I answer I will provide INACCURATE information.  After reading all of the above, I think the best way to respond is to tell them I'm a 13 yo and no adults have access to this number.  Wonder if that would work. lol.

I was getting these call every day, all times of day and evening.  I have a Panasonic phone that has a call blocking option ~ I blocked them.  All the caller hears is a rapid busy signal.  Calls eventually stopped.

This stupid ass phone number continues to call me endlessly. What do they not get about DO NOT FRICKEN CALL ME!!!!!!!

Just called.  Caller ID says Lincoln NE.  After reading thru the posts and being from NE, UNMC is not even in Lincoln (which 471 is a Lincoln prefix). UNMC is in Omaha.  Obviously this is a scam call and I will block them.

It was a survey being conducted for the Department of Health by UNMC, in a call center located at a DHHS call center located in Lincoln.  Yes UNMC is in Lincoln, the Dental Collage on UNL East Campus is UNMC.  Also the 471 phone prefix in Lincoln is used by DHHS/State phone numbers.  The survey is now conducted by UNL's Bureau of Sociological Research from the same DHHS call center.  The legitimacy can be confirmed at www.dhhs.ne.gov/brfss, www.cdc.gov/brfss, and www.bosr.unl.edu.

It is harassment. I get at least 3 calls per day.  The first call they were told I wasn't interested and not to call again.  She wanted to talk to my husband and I told her he could be reached at the cemetery.  Just a note:  Widows get many calls, scams and pleas from many different sources.  It is a shame that the US government is adding to the pot.  If you have a good answer to stop these calls, please post it.

Maybe a call blocker or blocking app depending on the phone. I killed unwanted calls by letting my phone ring with no kind of answer. If they always get something, they're more likely to be encouraged to continue. I drastically dropped the amount of junk I got to rarely getting any at all. If you can't miss calls, a call blocker is maybe the best way to stop them. They're easy to beat if you can miss them entirely and outlast them.~I Was Prepared~JustinCase

Thanks, Justin.  I don't answer any more and I tried to block on a Charter phone.  Didn't work or I didn't.  Appreciate your sage advice about outlasting them.  That I can do.
