called me, made it sound as if i had deliquent debt. When asked who they were she would not give name.  wanted credit card information. she was very rude and ended by hanging up on me.

very quick female voice message to punch buttons about credit card rates. SCAM for sure!

Claimed Equifax provided my number because I have such excellent credit. Wanted to lower my VISA/MC rate to 6%. Started by asking how much I owe. When I questioned why this info is needed, the male caller told me to stop wasting his time. I told him to stop wasting MY time, especially since my number is on a DNC list.

Recevied a phone call from this number. Caller ID states SERVICE MESSAGE. When I answered it was a recording stating that is this was the third phone call and final phone call to receive a lower interest rate on my credit card. Press 1 to speak to a rep and press 2 to end the call. I was curious to find out who this was and so pressed 1. All it did was ring, no one picked up.

I just got the call right now. Same thing as Gina's but I just hung up.

I got the same call. We are also on the DoNotCall list. It's a total scam!!!! They get all your information, then your credit card number, then they sell your credit card number (a hundred times over), and then you see charges on your bill that you didn't make, then you go to the trouble/time/expense of getting the charges removed, then your credit rating goes to crap!! It's a scam!!

Same as Gina (above) except it is MEMORIAL DAY.  Recording said they had made several attempts to reach us and this was our last chance to lower the interest rate on our credit card (not clear WHAT card so you wonder ... should I keep going?)

I hung on through some bizarre "hold music" and finally got to a hostile man who said he was just trying to make a living. Hung up.

Then to make matters worse she proceeded to call me an idiot and then hang up on me. I was furious and filed a complaint with the FTC. Everyone should file a complaint  with the FTC. These kind of low life pariah's need to be scraped out of every good US citizens sight.

Rcvd call on my cell phone regarding lowering credit card rate.. I ignored the call as I knew it was not from any company with which I was familar.  Appears to be a sales soliciation or a scam.

Just called the number back. Pressed #1 to be on their DO Not Call LIst"

I got a phone call today from this number, purporting to be "Card Services," making it sound like VISA's card services calls. Claimed that I was eligible for a lower rate, and asking if I had more than $4,000 in consumer debt. I said, "Maybe, but what card is this about?" She said, "We work directly with Mastercard and VISA. What is your card number?" I said, "You know, I'm having issues with the confidentiality of this call." CLICK!
