This Northside Hospital business office.  This is a classic case of one hand not knowing what the other does.  If you think you may owe something, ot just to be safe, call or visit the Northside Hospital, i.e. Forsyth or Cherokee and talk with one of their people.  They actually know what's going on.  If you have a problem with your bill, chances are the "business office" is going to refer you back to the Hospital anyway.

This is Northside.Seen in October for a fracture that they were not able to repair.They sent me home to call a specialist on Mon. who was not available till Tuesday.I went with another specialist. anyway my 1st bill was sent out Nov.3rd I had mailed out a check on Nov. 13th received a call on Nov 14th.I explained i just got the 1st bill and they told me if it is not paid in 120 days it is going to collection.
I asked to have the phone calls stop and just mail the bills.I have received 2 more phone calls.I am now taking it to a higher level.this is harrassment.This was the 1st hospital that ever came into my room in the ER asking for money.If I can help it at all I will not be bach at Northside

I called and talked to them today.  I did have an amount due, but it was not overdue.  I would have paid my college daughter's bill in a timely fashion without ANY phone calls.  But my daughter told me she had been receiving calls day and night from this number, without any messages left, and she didn't know who it was.  Called her all through the holiday season.  When I called and paid my bill, I also asked to speak to a supervisor.  I got John Somebody.  I told him my story and said this is poor practice, and it was unnecessary in my case.  He flippantly said, "Thanks for the feedback."  Nothing else.  I asked him if he had anything more to say.  He then defensively explained their policy regarding the dialer system they use.  I told him he should review that policy, because it was not operating as benignly as he represented it was.  Told him he should read the comments about this number on sites like this.  He replied, "Oh I have."  Very superior, not apologetic at all for the interruption of my daughter's life or our holidays.  Will avoid using this hospital in the future.

They made a verbal contract w/ me on the phone to make 12 monthly payments on my bill.  They called me 6 days before the first payment is due (today) and demanded I pay it all today.  I filed a complaint w/ the BBB.

People stop freaking out. It's Northside Hospital. But for some reason their automated system will not leave a Voice Mail and will call and call. Here is a plan, pay the money you own.....and guess what....they quit calling.

I got the call today on my work cell phone. No one in my family has ever been to Northside Hospital. Plus I NEVER give my work cell out to anyone. I think it's bogus.

It is from Northside hospital's billing office. They call and collect on past due accounts. Call them back, give them your last name and see if you owe anything. If you do indeed owe, see if they can structure a settlement. Good luck!

Yes this is Northside's actual billing office.  The number is written write on the statement.  

I have been receiving calls from them for 2 months, after finally reading about these reviews I decided to answer.  The lady on the other end told me that there is a balance due from my son's birth at the Forsyth campus 1 YEAR ago.  She said that I needed to call my insurance company because they reprocessed the claim and now more money is due (??), but she would not tell me how much I supposedly owed.  

I did in fact pull my EOB, call the insurance company to verify with them that the claim was paid, I then went through my medical bills (I always save the stubs and mark when and how it was paid) and discovered that I not only paid the bill, but I OVERPAID the bill.  So now I am pissed.  I called back and after sitting through the hold process someone finally answered.  I told her I was returning a call about a reprocessed insurance claim and I supposedly owe money" I did not give any further information like my name, date of service or anything.  She told my claim person was named Shari and she was in a meeting at the moment.  Would I like to leave a message.  I told her No and to have "Shari" call me back.  

I'm still waiting on the returned call.

I dont know if this is a scam or not. Point is if your going to call my phone literally 24/7 I have an issue with that. I dont care HOW MUCH MONEY I owe I'm not rich and I refuse to die(by which I mean Ill go to the doctor if Im sick money or not). Ill pay you back whenI get my money. I called up there and told them this. They transferred me to another line in the "hospital" When I spoke to the lady I told her the situation and she looked up the number in the hospitals registry. She said there were no accounts of this number being a hospital number.

Im not saying its not, but thats a bit fishy. I dont appreciate them calling at 3 in the morning 5 times in a row and when I pick up they hang up, im put on hold, or they transfer me to the same response above. The last time I called them back I told them that if they transferred me I would call the cops and asked who they were and they were silent. I told them my name and phone number and told them if I got one more call form that number I would block it and call the cops to trace the call and tell me who it was and that it was best for them to take me off the call list. They haven't called since.

Now if it was the hospital, I believe they wouldn't of been afraid of the cops tracing the call back to them and wouldve called anyways. So I find this even weirder. My finger sways towards scam

Yep, this is the Northside Hospital business office.  They NEVER give up.  They call me every Monday and Wednesday (for over a year) attempt to collect on a bill that WAS PAID under a legal settlement by my attorney.  Attorney said they signed agreement to accept his payment as payment in full, THEY say that they don't negotiate on automobile crash injuries.  K.Nugent (Lawyer) says he will enjoy taking this to court, just sent him more money... yeah right!

Northside Hospital is in the business of harassment. I received service, a bill for service, paid the bill in three days of receipt of bill but started getting calls eight days before I received the bill. They are still calling me about the same bill that is paid in full, documented by certified check, delivered by certified mail with all supporting documentation faxed to their office in duplicate. Yet they continue to call between 5 and ten times a day.

I am not the only victim from Northsides actions, many other victims are coming forward. All of the documentation is being compiled and reviewed by a law firm. In addition the data is being reviewed with local news media to do a special interest story on Northsides harassment practices. This type of behavior has gone on long enough and needs to be exposed to our entire community. We are the customers, we are paying the bills and we do not have to be treated in such a manner, enough is enough.

These people are absolutely scammers.  I've never even been to Georgia, much less to their hospital.

Right and wrong all at the same time; yes, it's Northside Hospital, but as such it is also a scam! If they put a tenth of the effort that they use harrassing people into actually billing insurance appropriately, or (gasp) maybe trying to heal patients, they'd be alright. Sadly, they've had their priorities out of whack for years! They nearly killed my daughter 4 years ago by delaying an emergency appendectomy, and tried to refuse me emergency care a few months ago because of an insurance snafu! (I'm covered under a very common company, and it should have been easy for them to troubleshoot without delaying necessary care).

This is not Northside hospital. It's from Northside Radiology Associates... which isn't owned by the hospital, but rather is a group of radiologists. They unfortunately use a collection agency.

It's "Northside Radiology Associates", not the hospital. Someone is misrepresenting themselves on the phone.

No... this agency calls you before you actually owe anything. Kind of sucks. They do it to employees as well as non-employees who are patients.
