ok .. just got off the phone with illiterate edward lumus .. when i told him i was contacting the fbi he hung up on me .. wonderful business skills he has there .. didnt even ask me for my addy or phone number .. anyways .. got off phone with him .. called the local fbi .. i was then instructed to call the magistrates office in atlanta georgia as that is where the number is originating from soooooooo off to make some more phone calls ...

ANYONE WHOM THIS IDIOT IS TRYING TO SCAM (and the fbi confirmed it was a scam) call the magistrates office in atlanta and report him

In addition to the FBI and the Atlanta magistrate, I suggest you also email your information to Sid Barret; he's a Georgia assistant attorney general who, from what I can gather on Google, handles many consumer fraud cases. Hi, I have a really good one for you and if it didn't happen to me I would not believe it either.  I get messages on my answering machine from these morons.  They are looking for someone whom I don't know and never heard of.  I have returned their call, thinking that they were legit, and ask them to take me off their list.  Days later, I get the same messages again.  I call them back, they apologized and Mr. Lumus said he would take my number off their list.  They do hang up on you, and are very rude individuals.  After having a really sh**ty day on Friday, I have a message from Mr.Lumus telling me that he is looking for that person and has an arrest warrant out for them.  I called Mr. Lumus this morning and told him that I had called on several occasions and requested to be taken off their calling list, blah, blah, blah.  He hung up on me.  I really tried of these people.  I want their a*s on a silver platter.  I feel really stupid, but thanks to a good friend who showed me this website, I'm not stupid, just someone who pays her bills on time and really can't stand people like these idiots who couldn't stick their finger up their butt with both hands, unless it was a drug!

A Special Investigator Barbara Perusy called and left a message saying someone had siled a civil complaint and left a file number and a phone number to call.  I tried to call the number and it had been disconnected.
The number she left was 678-392-1160

Ignore these grifters false and report these grifters to the law enforcement agencies that are listed above. Good luck.

My Wife, and I recieved 2 calls from (404)287-0204 Investigator Michelle. On the second call, she stated that they were going to prosecute us. I started laughing at her, and told her that I have been conducting a little investigation of my own. I informed  Michelle that I know that they are nothing but a bunch of G** D*** crooks from Buffalo N.Y., and that I was calling the police. We have not recieved any more calls from this number. These type of dirtbags hope, and pray that they will find somebody that will fall for their tricks. If they call you, give them hell!

This all started back in Dec 2006, bad time received letters, recvd multipal phone calls, you all know the drill, however at the time all of this was happening i did not have the luxory of having a computer until this year.. Anyway i made the mistake and they got me. i have reported to my local police dept gave all information have called the FTC and bank changed everything.  People try to do the right thing and this is what happens.  I knew i had a debt for a crcrd, did not know my statute ran out. Just call me STUPID and i made a mistake, but i am going to get the SOB's and i am not going down without a fight.  My father has connections with the GA police dept since he is a Drug Enforcement officer-who knows what will happen, but like i said i am not going down with out a fight. i may spend what they took to make it happen, but at least this way i know exactly were my money is going.....

The caller was very rude and demanding that I was the person he was looking for and he said that he would just send a lawyer out.  
when I called back to speak with someone, over his head he got upset and said the he was in charge.

Individual from, 404-287-0204, called my sister in Washington state and then called my parents in Texas asking for my social security number or how to get a hold of me.  Individual left the name Josh Applegate.  My father said that he came on strong at first and then backed off when he figured out he was talking to the wrong person.

Rec'd message on my home phone # on tues 3/11/08, message stated for my son, said filing criminal action against him for irregular business practices, passing a bad check, need to call back immediately to avoid charges, last comment was "good luck".  This was because they bullied his wife into providing their bank information and I told them to stop the transaction and close the account which they did.  This so called company tried to get the $ twice out of the their account and sent a letter stating as soon as they paid $1330.65, their debt of $6589 would be forgiven.  I called on 3/13/08 and talked to a Ms Clark, asked to speak with the person that signed the letter, of course not available. Explained that I work for the company that they said the debt was through and was told that I am a liar, also asked how can they collect $ on a debt that is not owed and does not show on my son's credit. I was told that I needed to watch what I was saying because they were recording the call, I said I don't care that's fine. Asked how does she like working for convicted felon's and drug dealers, told her I found that information on line, again was called a liar. Said they have my phone # and would call me back and hung up.

they always ask for the same person but one that does not live hear. 6 months ago we got the police involved...it stopped but even the police were hot about these guys..
tonight i had enough and at my own cost i started pranking them and i'd call and ask what they wanted and they ask for the reservation # and i say eat !@@# then theyd get mad...one lady told me to f&%& off!...
so i called back  and reluctantly got the same girl...she was still mad and i asked if she was that really dumb third grade girl that use to sit in the front seat of the short bus..that i use to drive to dumbville...she hung up..
then i called back and got another lady same game...this time i told her i was a redneck and that all i wanted was to spit some beach nut in her eyes...well if you know hankjr...then you know what came next...
anyway...it was great pissing with them...

Received two calls from this number in two days - Mr Bryce & Ms Clarke.  Both accused me of debt that's not mine.  They keep asking for SS number & phish for names of family members, addresses, etc.   Obviously some type of phishing SCAM.

I've received similar calls about 4-5 times/yr for some 6 years.  They always have the wrong SS (last four digits) and wrong address, but they have my name & phone number.  Most all calls seem to be from the Buffalo NY area.   They always promise to remove me from their list, but I keep getting another call from another person with "another" collection agency.  Obviously they just pass the name / number around their office.
