Yep got one too on the 11th.  They had all my personal info and said that I received a settlement check at an address in a state that I didn't even reside or have any connection to. They said I committed various fraud and thief.  She told me she was investigator "Ms. Clark."  When I got frustrated and swore and then started to ask her some questions, she put me on "hold."  She then hung up and preceeded to call my parents in another state and harassed and threatened them.  Oh, I was also told that I was being sued in "the county I resided in" by them. I called back at the number they gave my parents and told them I was on to their scam and how I was reporting them to the authority's.  They called me back and told me "your mother disowned you, and we will be the last ones laughing when we sue you....you stupid bi**h." Anyway, I had a cell phone number come up on my caller id today from the same area code.....which I will check out today.  I will report this number as well if needed.  Anyway, checked my credit after putting fraud alerts out, etc, and the credit they were falsely claiming doesn't exist anywhere....leading me to believe that they are going by some really old reports. Got message from "investigator Clark" for my son who hasn't lived here in 8 years. Once last week and again today.  Said will be having local court serve him and good luck in court. What jerks!! Glad I looked up this "reggie white" and found this website. I will also be reporting them!!!!

Just received one of those calls and in today's day and age where identity theft is so common that was my initial thought because of what they said.  They told me that I co-signed for a lady that i have never heard of and then told me I would be served with a summons.  When I told the rep that called I never heard of this lady she went ballistic and hung up on me.  I called back because I wanted some information and of course the person that answered could not find my information.  I'm not sure about the rest of you but I will report them and if there is any legal action available I will be pursuing it just to get them shut down

Me again!  I did some research.  The Att. Generals Office says to call The Georgia Governor's Office of Consumer Affairs @ 404-651-8600.  Then they say to fill out a form on there website.  WWW.STATE.GA..US.\GAOCA
It is also suggested to call there local Better Business Bureau 404-688-4910.  Please help stop these criminals from making people victims.

I'm a bankruptcy attorney and I have a client who received one of the calls from "Investigator Michelle" at 404.287.0204 regarding a debt included in her bankruptcy for a discharge.  The debt was owed to Chase and "Michelle" refused to take bankruptcy information or let anyone get a word out.  My paralegal called the number back and was hung up on and so was I.  

So, this has become a violation of a court order, aka a violation of the bankruptcy stay, and I am prepared to file a show cause motion to hold them in contempt, but I need an address.  I have advised my client to be coy next time they call and to act like she doesn't have her case number in order to find out what she owes and where to send the check.  If any of you get an address and post it, I will gladly join the good fight; the bankruptcy court has a lot more teeth than the FTC or the attorney generals' offices when it comes to harassing phone calls.

Same crap as above.  We live in Orlando Fl.  A Reggie White shows up on the caller ID.  She hass called us three nights in a row & has called my wife's parents as well.  Threats of going to court, civil action, the whole line of [***].  The statutes of limitation in most staes are 3-6 years for a bad charge card.

Someone called today from this number and left a message using my maiden name stating that I had 48 hours to respond with my case number in order to avoid a civil lawsuit.  When I called back, the guy, can't remember his name, said that I owed $2848.19 for a charged-off Chase Manhatten Visa card.  I told him I had never in my life had any type of account with Chase Manhatten or Banc One.  He said I could pay the money now or if I was found at fault in court, it could cost me $10,000.  I refused his offer to settle this with him and he stated that he would be faxing my paperwork to my county courts and the sheriff would deliver me a summons within the next 3 to 5 days.  I told him to go ahead and I would fight it in court.  They called my sister yesterday to try and locate me.  And my mother-in-law received a call from this same number looking for my husband.  This really pisses me off and I will be filing complaints with anyone who will listen.

Nice detective work, Mr. X!  It all makes sense now. CMC Recovery has pulled this same "You're going to jail" B.S. through a slew of phone numbers around the country. I hae had several messages from tis number and just today heard all of them. I am a busy independent rofessional so my life revolves around my cell phone. Each message became more and more threatening. ironically I couldn't figure out "who" in Atlanta was seeking judgement against me (as the message infered) as I moved fro there over 3 years ago. After reading your posts I now understand they probably pulled an old charged off account due to an identity theft case in 1997. Geeeze...they are a bunch of desparate thieves, huh?? Thanks for everyone's feedback...now I know to ignore the threats!!!

TODAY, I received a call. First they called family members regarding a civil case against me with some arbitrary case number and it freaked out my family members - I called them, they said it was credit card debt that I resolved 5 years back. They said it was a criminal case they were filing not a civil case and they wanted money NOW with this make believe debt of $7200. They even located my ex spouse  and said it was regarding a civil case. That is such a violation of all the laws regarding credit debt. This is a huge scam. File complaints against them. It is a SCAM and very illegal and they are harassing and hurting peoples' reputations. I have already called the FBI and if these people are located they should be arrested for massive harassment and fraud - big time federal charges because it is across state lines. Nasty, they are.

I too have recently been receiving calls from and first off a woman named Angela Parker, then a 2nd person by the name of Jason something, threatening court action for a charged off debt from Chase. I told them today to go ahead and take me to court. He called back within 10 mins stating they were going to give me a 2nd chance. He also stated that they were recording calls with me that would stand up in court. To be honest I thought it was legit till now. I jut happened to thinkj to run the number in Google to find out who they were cause they never told me their agency name. Now I am thanks to all of you who have posted and cannot wait to talk to them again. Also today they called me twice at work which could cause me to lose my job, I told them this and he said that he couldnt care less if I lost my job or not.. I will be filing complaints with the addresses all of you have provided.. Thank you all so much for this info!
