I did not pick up. My phone visual said just "Atlanta GA", so I dialled * 99 and viewed the actual number. I was discomfited by the origin of the call - for personal reasons, so was relieved that it's nothing more apparently than some marketing or other potential scam.

Called me multiple times, when I presed one to speak to someone I asked for their phone number, It was my number backwards and when I told them they are not to call me and violate the DNC laws the girl screamed and swore at me calling me a dumb [***].

Seems to me that it might make sense to give them a bogus address in the worst part of town and act quite eager to see them show up.  At best, they farm out the prospects to companies who realize they're not getting accurate leads, and dump the phone spammers.  At worst, you make them spend time away from dialing trying to verify the leads, or at the least, referring it to other staffers who are costing money.

I have been called by Mikes Carpet Cleaning previously but just hung up.  This time I listened to their whole spiel and when they said press 3 to remove your number from our list, I did this only to get a message that this was an invalid response.  I guess I should add this one to my caller rejection list so that I am not bothered again.

This is the same group that used to call on the 978-570-2296 number. I followed their instructions to be placed on their "do not call" list but that never works.
The other number called with the same pitch on Dec 6, Dec 30, 2008, January 27 and February 4th. Three times I keyed in their "Opt Out" number and they continue to ignore the request the last time I talked to a VERY rude young female who called me some very unlady like names. I reported them to the FCC a second time, guess that is why they changed their phone number.

I recommend people file a complaint with the FCC maybe something will be done to put an end to this group.

Recorded message about carpet cleaning. pressed 3 to be removed from their calling list on several occaisions, over several months. I  am on the do not call list.

404-335-7149 CUSTOMERSVC recording for carpet cleaning.  I get recording and sometimes a person regularly.  I do all the usual things to get them to stop, but the calls keep coming.

I almost got them.
Got the call from 1-404-335-7149, I pressed 1 as they asked. When the young lady came on, she asked if I was interested in either Carpet, or Tile floor cleaning. I asked if they did Terrazzo floors, which are sort of like marble, she said they do marble so she thought they did. She said "it would cost between .25 to .75 cents per sq foot, do you want an appointment"  I said "for them to come out and give me an estimate ?" she said yes, do you want an appointment, I said for them to come out. She then hung up on me.

Received call from this number.  Did not answer phone and caller did not leave message. How do they get our phone numbers?  What agencies release these to these irritating telemarketers?

called all four phones lines at once in house.  i did not answer

I receive calls from this telemarketer Mike about carpet cleaning.  If you press 3 to be removed from these calls the automated voice message said this is an invalid entry.  I receive these calls twice a week for the past 3 months. This is getting very annoying!!!!!

Send complaints to PAETEC. Ask to be removed from caller's list, and that caller comply with the FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule if your number is on the federal Do Not Call registry.

Almost everyday around 2:30pm PT, I receive call from this number.

Deluxe Carpet Cleaning called a few times, the latest being April 1st, at 1:07pm. They constantly hang up on me when I request information on the company or try to get off their call list. We are on the DNC list. They have a fake number removal option at the callback number 404-335-7149, and it does not work.

Same story happened with Mike's Carpet Cleaning at978-570-2296 a few months ago - I filed a complaint with Attorney General's office and they stopped calling (for now).

All mickey mouse companies who refuse to comply with the Federal Do Not Call List should be given a fine for violating the law.

I just got the call about carpet cleaning and pressed the 3 to be removed.  Of course, the recording says that it is an invalid response, however - I discovered that if I HOLD DOWN the 3 then the recording gets stuck repeating itself and ties up their line for as long as I hold the 3.

IF EVERYONE WHO RECEIVES A CALL FROM THIS SCAM JUST HOLDS THEIR NUMBER 3 DOWN AS LONG AS THEY CAN, WE CAN TIE UP THEIR LINES AND BLOCK THEM FROM CALLING US!!!!

I put a clamp on my phone to hold the 3 and it has been that way for over 30 minutes while the "invalid response" announcement continues to repeat itself over and over and over.....

This trick should be posted everywhere!  Hold down the 3 as long as you can AND DELAY THEM.

Call started with a pre-recorded message. I pressed '1' to get to a human being.

I told the person that I was on the DNC registry; she said that someone "referred" me to them, and maybe one of my "friends" thought I had dirty carpets, and that they gave the company my number.

When I told her that I don't *have* carpets, she said "well maybe somebody doesn't like you" and hung up on me.

404-335-7149 - "Mike from carpet cleaning company" - I hung up after that...we are on do not call list - don't understand how they can get away with this when they are obviously making lots of calls and being reported over and over again.

Received a call from this number today.  It said press 9 to be removed.  I pressed 9 and it said it was an invalid entry.  I pressed 1 as if I wanted to make an appointment so I could speak to someone.  They hung up on me when I said I didn't want an appointment and I was angry.  Tried to call back the number and all you get is a recording saying you can get your number removed.

This place has been calling at least once a week for a while now.  Today I finally listed to the whole recording.  At the end, it said "Press 1 to set up an appointment now, press 2 to have a representative call you back, or press 9 to be removed from our calling list".  I pressed 9, but that was an invalid entry, so I started pressing the other numbers.  It turned out that 8 was the removal number.  Hopefully it'll stop the calls.

Received a call from "Mike from the carpet cleaning company." Same special, press 1 to speak to someone.  Got a Rachel who claimed to be a manager.  Wouldn't give her last name, and when I pressed her, she launched a torrent of abusive language and hung up.  Calling back the number now gives another recorded message with an opportunity to be "added to their do not call list." Doubt if it will work.
