I had a call from the relay syster as well.  A person, Kathy Sheehan kathy1gus@gmail.com, wanting  a price for a metal blind.  At first it seemed odd, but not too strange. She then wanted to communicate through emails. When she wanted a price for 30 blinds with the same measurements, I thought, " Okay, But I am not ordering the blinds until I am paid in full." Then I received an email from her wanting me to contact the shipping company and find out what the cost of shipping charge would be.  I did not mind doing it as a customer service, but I could not reach them through the email address given me.  hightshippinginc@mail.com must be a scam address as well.  I talked to someone who remembered hearing about a scam similar to this, same measurement for a large quantity of a same product.I looked up Christ The King International and found this site.  It is upsetting that someone would use the name Christ The King as a scamming front.  OFFENSIVE!  She said the blinds were going to a church location in Finland.  Very similar email asking for help due to her deafness.  whoever is doing this should be found and punished.

Just to let you know they are still at it...this time the deaf person is Kathy Sheehan  shipping company is Buzz Freight still going to the Church in Finland  thanks for posting this...had a bad feeling from the get go. They are rather persistent

Yay for websites like this. Our company was hit up for products from a Kathy Sheehan that reads like other posts to this site. After a couple of internet searches I got all the info I needed to know taht this was the same scam system.
 The person or persons uses telephone relay and poses as a deaf person. Thereafter all the contact is through email. This time the freight company was named Buzz Freight, and the contact person was Charles O. Sasu at hightshippinginc@mail.com. 09-07-09  BEWARE!!

this person is now using Kathy Sheehan as his/her name. I was going back and forth emailing, I am a legitimate company who is selling natural stone travertine. This person has just asked to order 2500sqft of travertine pavers. He/She refused to give out the shipping address and telephone number to me when I told her that I could write her and estimate till the very end. As soon as I saw this following email, I knew that something is not right, that it is a scam.

Hey everyone that posted this thank you very much almost got caught up in the scam. He wanted 5 electric fire places and provided the exact information everyone had posted. Thanks a million you saved me thousands of dollars and a ton of headaches. My next vacation will be to Africa or where ever he is from to put him out of his misery.

i received an order for over $10k in heavy duty paper shredders.the contact was mark holland i went thru the entire negotiation and ready to ship using their shipping company expedia shipping with michael buzzard.they gave me a ny address all bogus but the trick here was that you should contact us customs and trap their delivery because they are shipping overseas. Do not ship or send anything to them. scam

I got an order for 2400' of 4" PVC from Phil Larry by email and relay. He has given me 6 card numbers so far. I thought it was too good to be true, but when The shipper, Inter Cargo Company wanted $4350 to ship to an Orphanage in Ghana and would not take credit cards from me or Phil, I got wise. The cards are stolen.

similar problem mine came threw email. thought it was suspicous when the email was to and from the same email address. It was form one Mark Holland. wanted me to split cost on two credit card and pay the shipping company ( michael buzzard) with a western union money order and send it to Gahana. I knew this was a scam since they had telephoned me last year using the relay system and i said i wasnt comfortable shipping to africa. I reported this time to city bank credit card since they had given me 3 different card numbers. total scam. maybe if they worked this hard at a real job the world would be a better place.I hope what comes around goes around!

I received a call back in August from a man by the name of "Gary Whightsil" who ordered very expensive parts for a 2004 Mercedes CLK500.  He called me from 516-422-2066.  I'm inexperienced with looking out for credit card fraud signs.  Now that I look back, I see where I made my mistakes.
His credit card information was an exact match but the billing address was in Texas and his calls were coming from New Jersey.  He arranged the shipping completely so I didn't even have a destination address.  When I receieved the fraud notice from the bank, I found out that he had charged over $20,000 on this person's card.  If that isn't bad enough, the same person, I'm certain of this, called the same month and ordered more parts for the same car with different information.  This time I arranged the shipping.  
The company name and phone number that ordered the parts was: Auto Matchavariani / Caucasus Express.
After all was said and done, I researched the name on the card and it turned out to be a man in Texas with a listed phone number.  If only I could go back.  I would've called the listed number and would have found out immediately that it was a stolen credit card.  I may have even saved other companies that he was ordering from at the same time.
I now call my bank for any orders over $500 to verify the card holder's identity.
FYI, the man that was calling me was very polite and had an African accent.  This is most definitely a huge scam operation coming from Africa.  PLEASE ASK FOR A FAXED COPY OF THE CREDIT CARD AND ID IF YOU RECEIVE MAIL ORDERS FOR A LARGE AMOUNT OF MONEY AND MAKE SURE YOU ARRANGE THE SHIPPING.  ALSO, MAKE SURE THE SHIPPING AND BILLING IS THE SAME LOCATION OR AT LEAST IN THE SAME AREA.  GOOGLE IT ! ! ! ! !

I kept getting emails, and now faxes for pipe, fittings, pumps, water heaters, tankless heaters, HVAC equipment, valves, etc.  The one i just pulled out of the trash was a guy looking for the major brands of tankless water heaters that I carry, and after he gets it, he will let me know have his specification and brand.  Of course his english was pretty broken, grammer not close to being typical american, easy to recognize since i have worked internationally in a former life.

Only once did i ever reply,  BIG MISTAKE, made more of the spam come at me.  My reply was real simple, I only sell what I install, here in Ohio, PERIOD.  I am not a retailer and since credit cards companies needed bailout money, i do not accept credit cards, (they don't have credit, and I am not taking the risk!).  Makes my life simple, and I do take checks and provide credit payment terms direct with the owner, skipping the banks.

Melody, the same has happened to me.  This"Kathy Sheehan" wnated 40 mini blinds with a shipping address in Finland.  They gave me two credit cards also. We need to stop somehow this people

We got the same run around with Kathy Sheehan. I also got 2 credit card numbers to which I charged the deposit. What happens now. Will we ever actually see the money? Now we are stuck with 40 mini blinds 48" x 48". This stinks, really, really stinks.

Just Recently happened to me under the name Michael Buzzard...Mark Holland Is the person that intialy sends you the email...However where he screwed up, is in one sentence he wanted the merchandise to be sent  to the church address below. In another he stated that the product was for a Hotel he owned in Hungary!!! Wow what a scam!!!

should have known better... many children and noises in back ground... and sounds like he is sitting in the midst of a hen house with roosters crowing... we have been overseas so that kind of told us something was wrong... gave 3 cc all were declined... wanted us to try smaller amounts... something began to really not sit well... Then I found this blog... Thank you for reporting... Sad that people use the church and the name of Christ to do evil...

They are using the same mo but with a different number. watch for 324-302-4435. Also After reading through this any email that ends with 1gus@gmail.com is a scam too. I just got scammed at my work for pavers. Didn't feel good about it. Did the same research as everyone else. This is a scary world we live in.

So Garry Buckman called my business wanting to order 1000, black, small t-shirts. He wants them delivered to Accra-Ghana to a Mr. Edem Williams. He sent 2 different credit card numbers and the first declined and than the second worked. Gave me a FEDEX shipping number. I was just wondering what happened with the PVC pipes he was wanting to order from you??? And if it was a scam or what not? Thank you
