hey folks, be sure you have your number registered in the DO NOT CALL registry. Then you can register a complaint with them. I am guessing that if everyone does this someone may take notice an do something about it.

they called me and didnt leave message or anything.  dont answer calls i dont recognize.  Bunch of losers

I've ignored so many calls from this number (on my cellphone, mind you), that I decided to pick up the call I just got.  A recording played saying that my family won a free home security system & to press "1" to be connected to an operator, which I did.  A guy answered & asked if he could ask me a few questions.  I told him he could not, but that I wanted to tell him that if they ever called me again they were going to have big problems & I was sick of their harrassment.  He cut me off in the middle of my rant & said he'd take me off their list.

Just got a call from this number as well.  My cell phone.  Didn't answer it.  Won't answer it either.

It's funny...they called my phone almost 2 hours a go. Judging by the other responses here, they were very busy. I was not available

I keep getting messages from this unknown caller............and want it to STOP! using up my minutes!

I have also received calls from this number and I LOVE to complain. I use Google Voice and they left their message there.

"You have been included in our home security system give away, and have been selected as winners of the special offer. Push one to be transferred to an agent. This is a new wireless home security system so if you own your home and do not rent and you would like to receive your free in home security system press one. Press two to be removed from this list."

They are in direct violation of the law and you do have remedy! I am creating a Public Service Announcement at one of my websites that will address this concern. I also plan on building a database of phone numbers and incorporating sample letters for your "Private Right of Action" demand letters.

Those "I'm Sorry" calls are a ploy to determine IF this is a FAX line or a voice line. I can only assume they also send out FAXs but have not heard of this yet. My PSA will include the laws (federal) with active links so you can verify, sample demand letters, and a means of collecting the phone numbers. I go through some expense and great pains to put all this up BUT there is something you CAN do! I expect nothing in return EXCEPT to put these idiots out of business or get them to change their procedures.

This may merely be a telemarketing company hired by the company that sells the service but that doesn't matter. The law attacks the advertiser NOT the advertising. It would be up to the advertiser to recoup their lost money from the telemarketing company. That's NOT your concern.

Just reply to this post if you would like more information on how you can be compensated (under the law) and what it takes to collect the information you need to exercise your "Private Right of Action." I AM NOT a lawyer but am a very resourceful technical writer. BE VERY CAREFUL when returning calls to this particular company! When you initiate a call, they can conveniently say they mis-dialed when they called you so it then becomes YOU who initiated the contact! They can then call you again and again.

I got the "I'm sorry" this morning but it sounded like a recording. I am able to block the number on my phone so if tries to call back he will be out of luck unless he uses a different number.

got the 'i'm sorry' and hang up...adding them to my call block right now...not starting this s**t!

Just got that same call.  Very weird indeed that all they say is "I'm sorry".
