- JM| 1 replyThis is a Hilton Grand Vacations spam group. They will call and state you've won a spectacular trip to anywhere you want. Too good to be true. I'm a Hilton Honors member, but will not use Hilton further if this persists.
- Caller: Hilton Grand Vacations
- Call type: Telemarketer
- AmaliaThey have called my cell phone 3 times in 2 days. I own an SPG timeshare, so I don't know if the call is related to that, but I don't want them to call me period!

- KP| 1 replyExtremely aggressive, rude and overbearing telemarketer. Not the kind of treatment I expect from Hilton.

- JimboHad enough of this number calling me every day so I answered. The guy said as a Hilton Honors member I was randomly selected for a promotional price for a trip to Hawaii. They wanted me to pay a down payment so I'm not sure how legit the call was but the guy was nice at least.

- Rob| 2 repliesThis girl called me and ask me a few questions about getting a vacation for a couple days with a flat rate of $249. She then stated my Hilton number and address which really creeped me out. As this girl was talking on the phone, I heard a male voice, and she would repeat whatever the male voice said. Again, I'm unsure how they got my personal information. I double checked with Hilton using their online chat customer assistance. They gave me a number to call and get rewards number renewed. I haven't gotten another call from this company imposing as part of the Hilton team.

- hiltonhonorsmemberCaller claims to be from Hilton, offering "free" vacations to resorts in Orlando, FL. Knew my name and that I was a Hilton Honors member. Seemed like a scam.
- Caller: Hilton
- Call type: Telemarketer
- BrianCalled saying I've won free vacations where ever I want, I immediately told them it sounded like a scam and hung up. Hopefully I don't get more of these.

- Patrick| 1 replyI've gotten many calls from 407-393-1683. I finally answered one and spoke with a lady that tried to convince me to commit to 3 nights at a Hilton in Vegas, Orlando, or one other city, for a cost of $299. I pushed back when I heard I would have to listen to a time share presentation. Another lady got on the phone and offered a package for $199 and pressed to get my credit card. A Hilton associate at a location I recently stayed at confirmed that this is SPAM and not the actual Hilton. She noted the corporate number is 800-548-8690 to report. DO NOT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD

Finally got around to checking this # out. Good to know it’s safe to block. - Anon replies to KPFWIW, whoever is calling isn’t Hilton, but a marketing group hired by them. Let Hilton know about their unpleasant tacytcs. Who knows? May be worth a few hundred points. Me? I’m blocking the number.
- PeterSpam call. Don't bother.

- Consumer| 1 replyCalled me with an Orlando number, while I was in Orlando, and staying in a Hilton for work. I picked up, thinking it was someone legitimately trying to get a hold of me from another office location. He said he was from Hilton and asked me how the weather was in Ohio (my home state), which confused me, because I was currently staying with them in Melbourne, Florida. I then sort of confused the guy on the phone by telling him I was currently in one of his hotels for work right now, and he started asking me questions, like what conference I was attending. I just hung up at this point, because I'm not one for small talk, so his loss. I figured if it was truly Hilton calling me with an issue, they would know where to find me later, but according to everyone else here, I made the right choice by hanging up. This is a SCAMMER, and NOT Hilton.

- DanI've been receiving calls from this number for a few days now (11/30 6:32PM, 12/3 11:07AM, 12/4 4:24PM). Never leave messages when I miss their calls.
Made the mistake of answering their second call, and it was consistent with the reports here; aggressive telemarketer claiming to be from Hilton Grand Vacations trying to sell a $249 trip to Orlando, then it's to anywhere, then it's $99... classic sleazy sales tactics. And of course they called me after I gave them a hard no too- these guys definitely don't take no for an answer!
Did a little research on my end, and I've come to the conclusion that this likely IS Hilton Grand Vacations making these calls. I've based this conclusion on the following:
- They did have my name and phone number, and Hilton does too since I am a Hilton Honors member. There are perhaps other ways they can get that info, sure, but being Hilton representatives themselves IS the most likely scenario.
- I called up Hilton customer care to complain since this isn't something I generally expect from Hilton, and the rep confirmed this is an actual deal they give.
- Did a few minutes of research into Hilton Grand Vacations, they DO have a call center based in Orlando, they do hire outbound phone sales reps, and there are plenty of complaints on Glassdoor about being pressured to sell at any cost (regardless of whether or not it's a good fit for the customer).
- This is a pretty common tactic to sell timeshares, and it has been for years.
However, regardless of whether or not this is Hilton, you should not answer this call (let alone give these people a dime). A good general rule to live by is that no product being sold through such tactics is one worth buying. :)- Caller: Hilton Grand Vacations
