The lady that called insisted in selling me 3 nights in a Hilton in Orlando Florida for $199.00 plus tax. She said that she was calling from Hilton Honors. She said that the offer was good for a year but she had to collect the $199.00 plus tax on a credit card right away.

Recently started getting calls from this number: I don't answer, and they don't leave a message. I note other users have mentioned Hilton, and I stayed at Hilton properties within the last year -- so this is either them selling information, or an unreported data breach.

My caller id says that this number is from Romania! The guy said he was with Hilton and asked for me by name. He actually pronounced my last name correctly! I told him he had the wrong number and he hung up. Hopefully that gets rid of him.

This number has called three times in the last few days. I haven’t answered and decided to look it up. I am also a Hilton honors member but am very bothered by receiving this type of call.

I ignored this call for a few days, then answered today. Total scam supposedly representing Hilton points members.

Telemarketer (scammer) wanting to provide Hilton timeshare vacations, etc, but I’m not interested in timeshare vacations, or a cruise for $299.00

Reminds me of the time I “won” a FREE 7 day cruise at my choosing... all I had to do was pay the $350 in taxes and other fees.  Caller could not understand why I did not want a FREE cruise, I explained the difference in his definition of free and my take on FREE.

This is not really Hilton, it is some outside marketing group. Do not give them your credit card number!

lady was very nice, said I was selected for a 3 night stay at a hotel in Orlando.  Deal was I had to visit a timeshare meeting for 2 hours. Lady was an english speaker and they knew my h rewards number.  Seemed like a good deal because I go to Orlando often. Told her I don't buy stuff over the phone and I would need to see an email and some stuff in writing and she went on a made the deal even sweeter, said again I don't purchase things over the phone but I'd be happy to call you back after seeing some writing, she went on again and I just hung up.  Sounds kind of legit but all the good scams are.

I work in sales for Hilton, and this is definitely a scam call. I just got one and listened to the pitch he was giving. I guarantee you that this is not Hilton. Do NOT give them any information on you.
