Caller ID said it was LDTS and the woman said she was calling from my phone company. Was very incensed when I told her she was not and wanted my name off her list. Insisted she was from my phone company but they would no longer give me the "discount" because i would not hear her out.

Got a call; claimed to be from my phone company and that they were partnering with somebody for long distance to lower my rates if I would only verify some information for them. I said I'd look it up on my phone company's website and he hung up real quick.

this woman called ,e up saying shes working with my service provider and stated shes wanting to change my long distance... i informed her im not looking for any changes to be made and she hung up real quick... i called my company no changes have been made

caller ID said "asterisk." Person said they were operator number ______: rattled off 5-7 digits. Said he was calling about the long distance portion of my verizon bill. Told him we weren't with verizon.  Bssically just hung up.

Received a call from LDTS from 407-520-5323. I answered the call. Said Hello twice. No one there. Researched this number the actual company that carries this phone number is listed as Paetec and is based in Fairport, NY. Google Paetech and you will find them listed. No mention of LTDS though.

I received a call this morning 24 August 2010 from 407 520 5323. They wanted to confirm my phone number and address and I did. When they asked my year of birth I got suspicious and asked them why they were asking that for and they would have that info anyway. They told me they wanted to be sure I was over 18 years of age  and I only gave them the birth year only. They quickly hang up. Being more suspicious I call AT&T they said they didn't know anything about switching a lesser cost long distance company.
I wonder what this LDTS , 407 520 5323 is up to ??????

Please be advised there has been a report of a company with the caller ID name of LDTS
and the phone number of 407‐520‐5323 calling individuals in this area claiming to be a
representative of ETC (Enhanced Telecommunications Corporation) when if fact they are
not. They claim they will save you money and simply want to move you to a different
service plan which if done, will result with the individual now being on their service.
LDTS service is based out of Kissimmee, Florida and their company name is PAETEC
Communications.
They have not only falsely posed as ETC, but as Verizon, Qwest, and AT&T as well
depending on which location they are contacting. Please be aware of this and share this
warning with your family and friends. If you utilize the Do Not Call list, it is
recommended you add 407‐520‐5323 to your list. To review customer complaints
simply search for 407‐520‐5323 on any search engine.

THis is EXACTLY what happend to me, this company is a modern day SCAM artist claiming to be your local provider, in my case Quest. After hanging up on them i called Quest to confirm that it was NOT infact quest calling me to inform me of the switch but just a lie. The company they are working for is "Long Distance America".

This number keeps calling me saying the same nonsense about lowering my rates with verizon and the first time i went with it the 2nd and 3rd and 4th time i been cursing them out its a girl

My girlfriend got a call from this number, and a male voice said, "I f***ing swear, one of these days, I'm gonna get it."

It was frightening, and whenever we've called back, it will ring for a while and a computerized voice will say "Thanks for calling, good-bye!"

This is upsetting more because she is from Orlando, which is where a 407 code comes from.

Got a call yesterday from the number.   (16 October 2010 - 12:42)  Similar story to the rest of the above.   Said Verizon had authorized my phone number to be changed and all I had to do was go through a verification process, otherwise I would be charged for changing my long distance.     Did not sound right to me and was very insistent that I do it NOW over the phone.  Said NO and hung up.  

Sent a note to Verizon saying that they should take legal action against them.  Also filed a complaint with the FTC.

The phone rang, caller ID read LDTS and like an idiot I answered. The woman asked if I'd like to lower my long distance rates to which I replied I don't pay for long distance with my current phone system. This went back and for several times until I finally requested to be removed from the call list. She said "I certainly will because you're and ashole". CLICK.

They are still at it.  The caller claimed to be from AT&T.  I asked if she was from AT&T.  She said, "Of course I am.  Where else would I be from?"  I answered, "I just wondered if you were from another company that was going to get me to try to switch."  She hung up.

Got a call from LDTS at 407-520-5323 here in Michigan. Male caller asked about long distance, and about my AT&T service. I informed him that I do not have AT&T service and he hung up.

same thing as everybody else .called back ,they said"hello thanks for calling goodbye.

Got a call today....Same thing. They called and was joking about a movie. I was wondering what the hell this was. Reading these posts are helpful. Hung up when enquired what this was all about...

Got a call from the same number as everyone else. Didn't recognize it, didn't answer, left no message.

Called the number back just now- late at night, in case it was a scam by an individual whom I could bother in their bed the way they bothered me in mine- and got the same thing: "Thank you for calling. Goodbye!"

I would suggest people start notifying the FCC about this one. After reading the posts above, this sounds like a scam that needs to be shut down.
