What I did to get this automated system to stop calling me:

1) Called the 800 number listed earlier in this thread:  800-464-5446

2) As soon as a customer service person answered, I said "May I speak to a supervisor please?"

3) They asked for my name, I provided them with my first name only.

4) They put me on hold shortly, then a supervisor got on the phone.  I asked if the person was a supervisor and they said yes.

5) I said to them:

"I have been on the national do not call registry for several months.  Your automated system calls my phone number every day even though I'm on the do not call list.  Prior to getting my lawyer involved, I'd like to give you a chance to make it so that your system no longer calls me every day.  Is there a way to get this done?"

6) Listen as the supervisor takes my phone number, and says they're sorry and they'll never call me again.

It was aa recording talking about getting me out of credit card debt because my minimum payment is going up and he's from the county, press 1 to get out of debt. I don't even have a credit card. I pressed one to talk to a real person and when I asked them not to call they hung up on me. I tried calling it back and got the recording saying my call could not be completed as dialed.

These are all the numbers that call me all the time.........3 months now, same hang ups as you all get.....tried speaking to anyone and everyone to get removed from call list......tried to whistle (FUN,,,by the way) Filed with FCC also.  Some of those numbers are now showing as UNKNOWN CALLER. I wouldn't answer, but some important family numbers show up as unknown,too.  So I answer! Very irritating.......

A live person never calls, a recording always calls and leaves an 800 number to call back (1-800-709-0241) if you want to reduce your debt.  If you call and tell them to take your name off the list, they hang up on you.  I have been hung up at least 10 times, but they won't stop calling. (I have no debt and therefore no reason for them to call me)

This # called me today and left an automated message.  It said that Jay Moore was calling from Datalink Direct at 1-800-693-1949 "about credit card balances and minimum payments that are going up."  This is such a scam, because my credit card debt is all paid off.
I am so sick of getting these calls--I am on the DNC registry and they call from one of the following numbers multiple times a day:

Digitcom Service, Inc. is just the wireless/toll-free service provider that these people are using.  It's not the actually company itsself.  I just called Digitcom and left them a message saying that I was complaining about the numbers that are registered with service through them.  You can't go after the phone company because they can't control what their customers purchase the services for.  But perhaps if enough people call Digitcom and complain about the numbers, they will look into it and possibly cancel their service for too many complaints.  

What these people are doing is using cell phones to make the calls with and they're having the calls forwarded to this other number that we will probably never know unless we hire a PI to investigate and pull the records for.  It sounds like it's an overseas call center because the people sound foreign.  But they have registered numbers inside the USA that makes the calls.  
I've done so mnay reverse lookups that it isn't even funny and I still have no idea the true name of the company that is doing this.  I don't think it's the previously mentioned company that someone gave a website for.  There's nothing that links the two that I can find.
Filing a Small Claims suit won't help if it's not the correct company that is calling you. I've been digging for 2 weeks and can't find too much on these people.

I just got a call from the 408 651 8157 number. I don't answer my phone for numbers I don't recognize. According to whitepages.com reverse lookup the number belongs to digitcom located on main street in Salinas.

Glad I found this site. It helps to know the number is a scam of some kind, but what do these guys want? I can take several guesses as to where they got my number. But what good is it if I don't answer? I'll add to this string if they call again, or find out more, until then.

they keep calling my sons (10 years old) tracphone to lower his debt...lol so now i call them every morning atleast 25 times asking if they want to lower their debt and then i hang up and call right back. i think i am annoying them so i will continue to do so everyday until they stop calling him.

I got a call from 408-651-8146 on April.02,2008. It was about debt reduction. The call was on my cell phone. The provider is Digitcom Services located in Salinas, California. That's what came up when I did a reverse phone check. Digitcom Services contact information in West Los Angeles, California is: 12923 Venice Blvd. Los Angeles,California 90066. You all can bring up the same information and even get a contact person name. Thought that I would let you all in on what I came up with on the internet on the FYI thing.

Want to know who to talk to at Digitcom Service's? Call 310-358-7000 and ask to talk to Herman Moore, Customer Service Manager. Let's tell this guy that if we keep getting all these calls from all these telemarketers we'll put him and them on the unemployment line and line them up at the food banks.

hahahahaha, I keep calling them back getting them to think I am interested in debt reduction when they ask for my name i say mark, jaosihdoaihs. they ask me to spell it I say jrp, 3 2 5, r q 9 2. Stupid [***] keep trying to get it too LOL. Then as soon as I ask how much money they make off this scam every day they hang up. its actually kind of fun messing with these fools.

I received a phone call just now from 408-651-8146. Be advised, it is a debt reduction agency that is an automated message. I do not have late payments, just ignore this number.

Third time in the past few weeks. Second time, I connected to their rep and told them I'd take legal action if they called again. They just have....

This number and others call with the exact same script about rising debt and demanding a return call. We don't have debt.  They have been calling since my wife put her cell phone online for some offer months ago.  We just pickup and hang up so they cannot leave their message we we see an unfamiliar number coming in.  Maybe I will have her number changed. I don't think she will ever put it online again after this.  Here is a short list of the recent numbers they have called from:  818-870-5032, 909-842-8166, 562-288-7191, 978-570-2304, 213-710-8154, 213-710-8151, 702-520-1396, 408-651-8146, 562-289-8142, and 262-228-5809.

My husband has been getting these calls on his cell phone.  I checked the two numbers that they originate from.  One is this 408 number.  The other is

When I return the call I get the same message, then after I press "1", the same live person for each.  Upon requesting to be put on their DNC list I get hung up on.

According to the reverse phone number check I just did, the phone number 408-651-8146 is coming from Salinas, California. The provider is Digitcom Services. Digitcom Services is located in West Los Angeles, California. You can get their address and contact information on the internet. Let's put these telemarketer's out of business. Get them on welfare and make them go to the food bank's.
